PS3: Devil May Cry 4
Weird...could've sworn a thread was started for this game...?
But...search yielded nothing.
Anyhoo...latest pics are up. And yes, it looks terrible. Don't buy it.

Anybody else play the demo yet? My first impressions:
-Graphics are superb!
-Camera is still a little sketch
-Gameplay is a lot like DMC3
-No combos available in demo, but there is definitely potential for some awesome attacks. Also, I want to see the new weapons!
-Why so many cutscenes?
-The centaur boss looked AWESOME, I hope they all look as good.
-Devil Fist (Bringer?) FTW! I think I could pound on baddies with this all day.
-I have to wait 2 weeks for the real thing

both versions look/sound identical...however the PS3 has a REQUIRED installation that sucks up 5 gigs on the HDD and takes 21-25 minutes....
this is "supposed" to help loading times but tests have shown the load times are a mere 2-3 seconds faster than Xbox360 which requires no installation....

I don't feel like getting to in depth here, so I'll just say the game was OK. Graphics and Nero were awesome, but everything else was pretty standard fare. Definitely a step back in terms of gameplay from DMC3, which is probably my biggest disappointment. They added all these new gauges and attacks, but aside from the standard pistol/sword combo everything else was fun to play around with, but not actually use. Oh yeah, and the styles that made life so much better in 3? Take a back seat. Maybe you're useful in the higher difficulties, but in Devil Hunter, anything but Sword Master is pretty much a waste.
7/10.

"No, the edge comes in the fact that the PS3 installs a large amount of game files to the hard drive, dramatically reducing load times between stages and cinematics. I've timed the game on both systems numerous times, and each time has been consistently in the PS3's favor. Transitions to gameplay from starting menus are relatively close, frequently within half a second or so of each other, but when you're loading up a cutscene or having another pause in the action, the 360's times are easily three times that of the PS3."
