So far...? Well, I don't recall fighting the fat@$$ at the military gates. So, that's a change.

There are the new weapons which we talked about already. And um, Rachel's missions.

And oh...the PS3 version is way purdier.

I was thinking that too..but damn it's a shitty feeling!!! I installed the game this time...the saves/loads are way faster, but does it do anything else? I know in the manual it says it "enhances" your gaming experience whatever that means..

Another question I should know the asnwer to but don't...lol..if I have an HDMI cable, does the game come in 16x9? I noticed that with the standard cables the ps3 comes with it looks like a stretched 4x3 if I put it in wide screen. Would the HDMI cable (the $19 or the $50 one?) put everything in widescreen for me?

Try out my method as well...she's not as hard as she seems if you time your attacks right.

I think I'm gonna have to use an FAQ to find all the crap I missed out on...at least until I get back to where I left off...I'm almost always a lesser ninja so maybe I can get some karma here..

To get a better grading, I figured that it is a combination of time-to-finishing of the level, your combos, and amount of Ninpo left...

As for searching for stuff, it's not that difficult IMO. And I don't think FAQ-resorting is something you need to do. Just look around carefully (by using camera angles and your 1st person view). Sometimes, backtracking to an area (i.e. Grail altar in the crypts) will yield an enemy challenge...

Stage 3, stage 3...the fat@$$ on the blimp?

Dash attack at him...good chance he'll block. But, it'll get you close to him...and stay close cuz if you are too far, he'll charge up his arm-cannon and fire at you. So, stay close, and do 3-slash combos on him...and then prepare to roll. If he attacks, block and immediately roll out of the way. 3-hit slash and repeat.

Same strategy for the him when he returns later on at the military gates.

yeah, he had a new abilty later on that changed up his pattern...but yeah, that fatass on the blimp... I notice if I stay close with either the two swords or the one, I can only get two attacks in before he attacks me, and even then while jumping/rolling away I always seem to get hit...shold I have any other weapons at this time or is it just the 2 swords and one sword?

I have fought both fat@$$es with the Dragon Sword.

Slash-slash-slash...roll. Slash-slash-slash...roll. And toss in the occasional block before the roll...works everytime for me?

You can't block his weaponry attacks...but, if he lunges at you, you can block his initial attack. But, you must immediately roll as it's strong enough to break your block. If you do not roll out of the way, he'll grab you.

For the record, getting run over by the tanks sucks.

And I've given up...but, I can't get a good grading for the Military Gates stage (the stage where you fight the fat@$$ again).

Chapter 3...hrm. Just the twin blades, smoke bomb, and bow.

You'll hafta go back to my post earlier for Alma. But, you should keep an eye out for all of the stuff I have listed there. I believe the next weapons for you are the nunchucks and Lunar stick...

As for ranking, I believe it's for bragging rights and some bonus at the end...?

PLH: And remember...you must go back into the Grail crypt twice. The second time is Fiend Challenge that'll net you a goodie.

And again, a friendly reminder for you to go back to my post about what you SHOULD have by now as Alma is almost around the corner for you.

Naw...seriously, she's not that bad.

Say, did you attempt to beat Doku in Stage 2 since you had to start over...?

I ATTEMPTED...and failed miserably...i had full health and got 2 hits in before he walloped me with a 4 hit combo (by the second hit i was already dead...)

But I am on chapter 6 again...I forgot how much trouble I had the first time with the 3 bikes, then the 3 fire breathing dragons, then the final weird looking boss. I can get up to them np, but the closest save point to me is far enough away that I have to go thru 3 or 4 fights with BS ninjas before i get to the bikes. So by the time I get there, I use up most of my potions and get to the boss, but it kills me almost instantly b/c I have little to no energy, and no potions left...i have been fighting and buying more, (since a statue is on the way to the boss fight) but I still end up using them...*sobsob* they broke my spirit last night...for the first time, i had to put the game down and forget about it...

To fight the ninjas, using some juggling is best. And the walls. A jump from the wall followed by a strong attack (triangle) usually does the trick. In fact, I use the wall technique alot when fighting a group of 3 ninjas. Once one is killed, you can stay more to the ground and hit with combos and juggle them as they are on the ground.

I bet you're getting owned by the exploding shurikens they are tossing at you. Be ready to block and once they are done lobbing them at you...jump off a wall, back-flip, and hit the strong attack button on the lot. There's a good chance you'll connect and knock them to the ground. Repeat.

As for the biker gang, the flying swallow attack with your Dragon Sword is your best friend. Do not stay on the ground and attempt to combo them as you'll end up getting owned. With red dinos, the most effective weapon for me was the Lunar. Jump in with a hard strike and then combo. Roll out and repeat.

The big monster tentacle boss is one of the easiest bosses in the game with the Dragon Sword armed. When his tentacles are out, jump towards and do the Flying Sparrow. Repeat this until both tentacles are off. And for a bonus, the tentacles always become health orbs. Once the tentacles are out button mash on the trunk of the beast as it is vulnerable. When the tentacles re-generate...repeat.

G'luck.
