So there's only one campaign in single player? Have to wait for expansion packs to play others? How many Terran levels is single player? This damn game already costs $60.

I just downloaded this on torrent and am about to install it. I may actually buy it soon so I can get my ass kicked online. I may not though, as command and conquer 3 basically ruined one of my semesters here because I would play 3 hour games with my roommate instead of going to class

Liking some of the newer Terran vehicles. :
But why can't I use some of them in skirmishes I play against the CPU.
Also I don't like the AI of the computer. All they seem to do is bum rush you with a shit ton of marines and marauders.

same here, I'm contemplating just waiting on the battle chest so I can have all three campaigns at once.
Plus I still haven't figured out what I'm going to do about my computer dilemma yet. I'm leaning towards just buying one though. Building one is fun and all, but can be time consuming and frustrating if something doesn't go right.

Damn I'm hooked on this game. I figured it was no big deal, I've waited almost 12 years for it so I didn't preorder. Then I played the beta a few times and the actual game, and I was hooked.
Sadly, my laptop barely meets the minimum requirements and is kinda slow still.... but its still worth it!
I played UMS and "fastest map ever" maps too much in BW and I played waaay too defensively to start. But I'm slowly learning rushes (really like the risky Banshee rush) and once I get decent with Terran I'll move on to another race...

I'm honestly scared to death of getting addicted. I'm already a tournament player for Street Fighter, and when I put that down for SC2 for 3 days, holy shit. I was TERRIBLE at Street Fighter.

I'm Down Right Fierce!
I haven't touched the original starcraft in years, but when I installed and started playing this early last week, the game felt both very familiar and very innovative. If anything Ken, I guarantee you'll like playing through the single player Campaign. I just finished up the Campaign this past weekend and the story is very fulfilling.
There are two bad things about the game though:
1. Waiting for "The Heart of the Swarm" to be released next year.
2. Waiting for "The Legacy of the Void" to be released in 2012-2013.
As for online multi-player, I was in platinum league before the closed beta ended. I don't know if I'll be playing this game online as I already play WoW and that's a time sink already.

I'm working on the campaign right now.. having some trouble with a couple missions.. 
I can do great against the zerg, but struggle against the protoss.. the mission with the big laser is frustrating me because I try to use the laser to kill the approaching units, but it won't fire!
