I might pre-order this one. What do you think bad idea or good idea?

I pre-ordered The Old Republic and well that turned out to be a horrible idea.

Arenanet has some cool changes to the MMO genre with GW2 and it looks promising. Also no monthly sub and thats a bonus if I dont play for a month here and there.

 

I think GW2 could be a great game if implimented correctly. The thing I hated about the first one was how much phasing was in the game. Everything you did was instanced.

With that said, the game comes out late August.. I am pretty sure ill give it a shot if I have time.

 

I was dead set on getting Torchlight 2 to replace Diablo but my friends showed me a bunch of videos summarizing each class and just general gameplay.... I told myself I wouldn't get another MMO but GW2 just looks too awesome.

Hit level 80 a few days ago...80% world completion...so far.

 

My comp bogs down big time in WvW so currently building a new rig. Just got a new i7 3770, Asus z77 board, 16gb Corsair 1600, and a gtx 560. Might switch to a SSD setup also...I really want to but probably going to hold out til I can get a 500gb+ for a reasonable price.

 

100% world completion last night, got 2 gifts of exploration...working on legendary weapon now.
