Every review I have seen says that this was the best overlooked game released this past year. I plan on picking it up soon after I finish up Gears of War.

Game is friggin awesome. I am 18 hrs into it and alot of the reviews say it takes "dozens of hours" to complete. The paintbrush mechanic is really cool once you get used to using it. I am back to playing it now since I finished GOW2

yeah, god of war 2 is what got me too...lol...seems like you kinda gotta look for stuff that you can paint...i do like the battle system though..very fresh and exciting. And yes, I would have to agree...very overlooked game...very awesome in so many aspects...I LOVE the graphics/artwork...wish they did some other games like that.

Yeah I'm at about 37 hours according to my save and I've been playing for about 3 weeks...I just started the 3rd segment of the game. And I haven't even gone back to look for the hidden stuff yet!

I just picked this up today. so far im not as into it as GOW I or II but its not bad. Im only about 3 hours into it and I hope it gets better. The mumbling over the captions and endless captions are a pain though.

It gets alot better once you get more brush techniques. The voiceovers are annoying though. I usually mute the tv during one

I'd like to see Okami on the Wii. It would be a killer with the Wiimote.

yeah, that would be sweet with a wiimote...but after a few hours and you learn new brush techniques, it really does pick up. You can do all kinds of crazy shit but you really gotta pay attention to the surroundings as there are lots of things you can alter if you sit and think about it.
