JUST SO EVERYONE KNOWS, All Local Sams Clubs have the Wheel For $104.28, If you cant find one locally they are online for shipping for $119.99, The Price was originally $149.99 everywhere and now dropped to $129.99 everywhere and the sams club price is $104.28! I just picked it up, its sweet, but still waiting for my system

 

I just noticed the cars get dirty with brake dust and stuff on longer races.

 

I haven't started messing with any custom paint/vinyl yet, but you guys should check out some of them at forzamotorsport.net They have some awesome custom jobs that take up to 4 hours to create. I was thinking of making a RL with a custom AZ graphics, but dont know how well that will fly here.

Anyways Loving this game!! will post pics of my cars when I get a chance.

Steering wheel sounds fun. I never played a racing game with a steering wheel before. How is it compared to a regular old controller?

i was talking to this guy the other day on live and he said he built a pretty basic one using intructions online. said all you need is some wood and took him about 20 minutes. too bad my only hdtv isnt used for my 360

yea i thought about that, but i think the way it moves is trying to simulate g forces, look at how much that thing rotates when you take a left turn, it rotates so much that your body is leaning on the right side of the car, much like what happens when you take a sharp left turn. although im sure the sensation is different than if you were to really take a fast left turn

 

Of much more practical use than the Force Dynamics behemoth is the TrackIR system from NaturalPoint. If you've got 10 minutes, check out this video. The guy gives a pretty decent overview by showing some of the setup stuff along with TrackIR being used in three different types of games: Armed Assault, Lock-On, and GTR2.

I didn't see any console titles listed as supported on the company's web site, but I can't imagine there would be many technical issues preventing console support in the future. Doing business with M$, Sony, and Nintendo on the other hand...

 

First try at a paint job... Took about 40 mins. I had to do the Do-Luck NSX cuz it looks like crap when you win it. Let me know what you guys think. Keep in mind I only spent 40 mins on it.

I'm trying to see how far I can get in Career mode without spending any money (aside from buying the first car) and just racing with prize cars.

So far I've made it to level 19 without buying a single car or part upgrade. Going to keep going when I get home from work tonight.

i don't have the game, but im saying in general could you save to a usb thumb drive plugged into the usb port? or do you have to upload the pictures thru XBL?

Ordered this from Amazon yesterday. Just started playing the demo...two questions.

1. Why am I penalized when other cars crash into me? If I brake into a turn and am hit from behind I get time added on to my run. I don't get it.

2. If you are driving a vehicle at 50mph and you throw the wheel all the way left or right, your front tires do not lose traction and just skid straight forward. The car will most likely flip, or at least spin out. What is so difficult about this that every racing game gets it wrong?

2) I have to believe that if they truly made it that way they would lose a portion of their market that simply wants to race and not be bothered about that much level of detail. My

 

i feel the reason for that is pretty much when you play with a controller and you press the left button or tilt the thumbstick left you're pretty much telling the game to rotate the wheel all the way left.

you get what i mean?

like in GT4 for the curves in the track where if i pressed and held the left button you would just end up off the track, what i do is tap the left button repeatedly to get the car to follow the line i want.

am i making any sense?
