Noobie Question

I have no experience in any of the game hardware or software. Just wanted to find out a good car game for the PC. Also how much would an console set up such as an XBOX or PS3 cost, used ofcourse.

A used 360 can be had for cheap these days. I cant check prices at work due to stupid Web Sense, but check out gamestop.com

You can also check Craigslist. And besides, the Xbox 360 Arcade bundle is only $199(sans hard drive)

personally I don't advice buying used consoles.... just my Save yourself the trouble and buy a new one from Costco where you can still return them if they brake down on you.

I'm interested in car racing and low intensity games, nothing like the kind of quake doom etc (those are the only 2 names that came to my mind )

^^dont need a HD to play games. just if you want to save things from your games. so you can play directly off the dvd. dont buy a used xbox with the failure rates they have. for 200 you can get a basic 360. or for IIRC a ps3 for like ?399? and a used one for around 2-300. i do have both and i prefer the ps3 (less children online)

dont know much about computer gaming. sorry
