The new test drive for X360....


As a reminder

 

Car models are off. why do the exhaust pipes have visible polygons? Even the lines on the road have visible polygons. Bunk, I would have expected better. The rest is just some lighting effects and blurs etc, BFD. GT5 will pwn that.

and why the uncanny tendency to post the absolute worst pic of a PS2 game possible? how about THIS screenshot from GT4???? I know it's not in game - this is Photo Mode - but this is what it should be compared to....... boo ya. You have officially been pwned by the mediocre, bunk ass, circa 2001 PS2 gaming system.

These next-gen shots are of the Test Drive series which died off a long time ago.

The PS2 shot was of the last TEST DRIVE SERIES!!! Hence the reason for posting it...

 

the key words being, "the Test Drive series which died off a long time ago". So yeah thanks for posting a screenshot of like a Gen 1 PS2 game, comparing it to a Xbox 360 game. Wow, let me post a screenshot of Test Drive 1 for Commodore 64, to make even a better case for Xbox 360's graphics superiority.

ps. I knew it was a screen shot of Test Drive for PS2. That doesn't change the fact that, it was a bad screen shot.

your such a loser, i was watching xbox 360 revealed tonight, and they showed a clip of the new need for speed, simply amazing, those photos that have visible polygons are not final product, obviously, and shush with your Gran Turismo blah blah, its getting old

I'll admit I don't think these particular shots are all that spectacular. You can never really know, however, until the game is released and in the hands of the people. I distinctly remember being underwhelmed by several of the official GT4 screen shots that were released prior to the game itself. But then I saw some of the stuff you guys were posting here and I definitely reformed my opinion.

 

Yeah, you guys can't go to MTV.com to check out the ingame footage of more X360 titles.

Like Zapara said, the movie really gives you a good feel for the game. The entire interiour of these cars have been modeled down to the freaking ash tray, lol.

yea... it's Test Drive 1 on Commodore 64 - which I believe was the first computer game I ever bought..
