Which game would you get? I already had rainbow 6 and GRAW 2 for the Xbox 360 so I don't really wanna replay them. What is the best game out right now? I don't really care when it came out? If nothing, I might just end up getting Fifa 08.

assassins creed looks hot as hell...like prince of persia on crack...ninja gaiden is a must have if you did not play the original...resistance is the must own fps....and if noone's tried it, i ust got heavenly sword, and even though it's not epic and long, it's pretty cool!
The best game on the system right now IMO is Ninja Gaiden Sigma; it is a must-buy but you must have the patience to learn this game. The game makes no apologies about its difficulty. You WILL get owned and owned lots. But, it is an absolutely gorgeous and monumental action game.
As for others, I'd also recommend Virtua Tennis, DiRT (esp. from all the good reviews), Oblivion, Formula One...
Go to IGN.com or other related gaming sites to get some reviews, screenshots, and etc. if you want to get an idea of what you're about to buy.

Yeah, I read about the review for Lair, but I guess it's really up to each invdividual which game they like...I've played some games that I thought were horrible which got great reviews.
I decided to go with Fifa 08 since there is a lot more replay value than with Ninja Gaiden or the other games mentioned. So far the game is FANTASTIC! I'm a huge Winning Eleven fan and I have Pro Evolution Soccer for the PC (sold only in Europe), but this Fifa beats the crap out of them. The licenses, graphics and ball physics beat the crap out of the Konami games and they finally made it a simulation. There is so much to do in this game, I can see myself playing it for months without even touching the online mode yet.

Ninja Gaiden Sigma is fun, but def. agree about the patience. You get your ass kicked over...and over....and over....and over again, but you always go back for more.
I enjoy Virtua Tennis....working on career mode currently. It's fun with others too!
Friend of mine just rented Heavenly Sword and is enjoying it.
Skate is great but frame rate dips a little.
Fifa 08 seems really fun.
Download some demos! Best way to try out a game quickly without buying it!

I was thinking of getting Heavenly Sword until I heard that you can finish it in about 6 hours....not worth the $60 IMO since there's not much replay value. I'll probably get it when they lower the price.
I was in the mood for a baseball game so I went out and got The Biggs for $39.99. I played for an inning because it was 20-0 and I couldn't even throw a strike!
I picked up Ninja Gaiden too.
