Got a DS lite!!
The DS lite is awesome...got mario kart and final fantasy 3..pretty hot. My wife and I are big fans of action/adventure rpg games...anything other than mana that is along those lines? since it was an out of the box ds we have no instructions or anything...what else can the ds do other than wifi, chat and advance/ds games?
Dunno about the rest off hand. Go go FFIII though, I'm 20 hours or so into it.

bz268, yeah, tetris by yourself is very boring very quickly, but soething about wifi or online competition really changes the pace...isn't there also a super puzzle fighter 2 turbo for the ds? And yes, I have lots of free time for now...just bought a house, got a promotion at one job, and doing great at the other...so everything's kinda in limbo until we go thru settlement...I have another month or so of mostly free evenings...if my car wasn't in the shop, i'd set up a meet!

and use tons of different homebrew games
Well, if all that sounds interesting than a flashcart is for use. It is pretty much a device, for your DS in particular, that allows you to do those following and more. I have an R4 and its great, I like to store all my games on one memory stick so I don't have a bunch of cartridges to carry around and it makes gaming really convenient. Anyways, like I said I know a great place where you can get an R4 for like $30 bucks and all you would need is a micro-sd card and your all set to go...
