Lost Planet - New Capcom game for 360
New Capcom game announced for the 360 created by Inafune (creator of Mega Man, etc..).
The crazy part is that these are all in-game graphics, not CGI cut scenes. Looks awesome. I can't wait!

Played the demo, the physics are sick. Aliens don't do much for me though.
If they took the general concept of the game, the physics, the graphics, and bundled it in a more traditional FPS... it'd probably be the best ever.

Funny... my thoughts exactly. I liked walking through the snow more than shooting those stupid alien pods everywhere.

Many control settings are adjustable in the "Back" button menu.

"For some reason, you can't point your gun straight up in the air. With plenty of enemies in the game requiring you to attack them as they fly or stand above you, this oversight requires you to constantly back pedal as you try to get your barrel pointed at their weak point that sits above your head."
friend bought it and came over and played last night.
definately looks like it could be fun.
i have no interest in the single player. it's very half-life'ish, not my style.
the multiplayer looks like it will be fun once people figure out wtf they're supposed to be doing
maps are freakin' huge

so i beat the first 2 levels.
Only complaints thus far is that everything seems to be far away in regards to shooting. Also, my character seems to move a bit slower than id like , in terms of viewing and shooting, but aside from that game is great.

maybe cause your character's running' in the snow?
well, ya, you run slow cuz your in snow. but everything in the game is kinda "slow", like turning around.
im sure you can tweak the controls though, and there is a fast turn button.
but something about that distant third person view makes things feel a bit odd.

I 100 % agree. It just seems so far away, it sort of hurts my eyes. I have to see how the story developes.

Im not quite sure. I cant really explain it, i just feel distant from alot of stuff thats all. I wish they had a better zoom method, but aside from that it's still alot of fun.
I think it's worth picking up, especially since the multiplayer seems promising.
