ebay or Trade-in at EB games?

I have 2 PS2's and about 50 games. Should I try and sell it all on eBay or take my chances with EB Games?

EB Games seems like the easy solution but I know I'll get raped. Although I really am not expecting more than $5-10 per game anyways.

I typically eBay my games. Even if you only get a few bucks for the game, you also get a few bucks for shipping, and it's generally more then what EB Games offers.

Plus, there's just something about trading in a game for $4 and watching them sell the same game for $14.99 or higher. I'd rather sell it to someone who wants the game then give it to a store at a reduced price only so they can mark it up 1000% and resell it...

But my problem is that I don't want to deal with selling all the games individually in 50 different auctions on eBay then shipping to 50 different people, etc. I could sell it all as one large lot but I think that would make it harder to sell.

From a convenience standpoint I'm leaning towards EB games. Where I can walk in with my old stuff and walk out with a Xbox360 even if it means I could have made an extra $100 on eBay.

if you use ebay quite a bit this could also be a plus because it can help boost your ebay ranking if that is important to you.

in the end for minimal work you're still going to get a few extra bucks so why not.

If you want convenience, EB it is. Like with anything, you pay for it.

I can't justify letting EB rip me off, but I also can't be bothered spending the time to eBay my shit... so it sits in boxes in my basement...

Do them in lots. That's what I do. So say you have 50 games. 5 lots of 10 games, 10 lots of 5 games, whatever. Put a buy it now price on each lot, set the reserve where you want it and that's that. If you list them simultaniously, it's also only one trip to the Post office.

Even better, if you don't want to go to the PO, just do everything online and have them pickup the package. Can't get much easier then that. You don't even need to leave your house.

try to list it at as a package on ebay with a reserve. If you aren't satisfied with the results, then sell it at EB. You'll only lose a few bucks in the auction listing process.

I primarily use UPS for shipping packages out because I can print the Shipping label immediately after the payment is processed by Paypal. Paypal let's you print the shipping label so you don't have to type in the address or anything and all I have to do is just drop it off at a UPS Store and that's it. Even simpler than the post office.

List some of them here in the Black Market?

Also, if you go the EbGames route, wait until they do their "Trade in 3 games, get an extra 20%" deal. This way, for every 3 games you give them, you get 20% more.

I traded my PS2 ( 2 controllers, mem card, and cords) and about 10 games in for $120 last Saturday. They would give me 80 cash or 120 trade, I took the trade.

I was shocked to.

eb games might not be too bad. would be much easier and faster. ebay fees + paypal fees also. plus, they sell them for a lot more than you can get on ebay, so they probably pay half decent

I listed everything for sale in the Black Market.

https://acurazine.com/forums/car-parts-sale-361/sold-fs-lots-playstation-2-bundles-352975/

Everything is on eBay too... all 3 day auctions. Whatever doesn't sell will be traded.

They are really picky about what games they buy back. They dont like sports games

You could prolly get 50-80 bucks.

It depends what you are selling. If games, then you may or may not get more than EB Games on Ebay. If systems though, than ebay all the way. Gamestop wanted to give me $60 of my PSP. I got 175 on ebay. Then sold 3 games and 4 movies along with a 1 gig card for another 150.

Well I sold a total of 12 games on eBay for like $75 plus shipping. Not too great.

Still have 30+ games and 2 systems plus accessories
