some beautiful footage there. I need to play that game more often, I need to get a better controller. The calibration on the Sidewinder Precision Pro I have is off... I'm afraid the only option is to junk it and get a new one.
Do most flight sims these days allow simultaneous input from multiple controllers? I basically stopped playing flight sims about four years ago because I never had rudder pedals. Now days, I'm wondering if I could just get a USB HOTAS setup and use the pedals from my driving wheel for the rudder.
well there may be issues using multiple controllers with FS 2004... don't know about the others though.

Flight Simulator was created by Bruce Artwick (SubLOGIC) and released for Apple II in 1979. It was released in 1982 for the IBM PC. It was the first mass-produced entertainment software for the PC. Microsoft bought it sometime in the 80's. I remember playing FS in CGA at 4.77 MHz. It was quite excruciating, lol. I still have my original FS 3.0 box - I used to play that in VGA on my blazing 286/10 (1MB of RAM, 40MB HD).

Here's a great read on Bruce Artwick and the history of Flight Simulator - the man is a modern genius:

I didn't know Bruce Artwick is a product of U of I until I read that history - the Meigs Field startup thing makes a lot more sense now.
U of I has done some incredible stuff. I mean, they created and developed Mosaic there too. Along with tons of other technology.
