Chapter Leader (Southern Region)
Just got this.. it's pretty good. I haven't played online yet. I always make it a point to play through campaign and familiarize myself with the dynamics first before some 12 year tries to repeatedly teabag my corpse. The core/control loadouts and dynamic electo/neuro/mech suit make gameplay a lot more dynamic. Still putting it all together. I'm about 75% through the story. Probably takes a solid 8-12 hours to finish story depending on difficulty. The weapons loadouts are okay. Doesn't seem as good as some previous in the series but treyarch didn't disappoint with this one, far better than Ghosts (blehhh), we'll see how online play is. Just be aware that you need to be logged into the network to play the campaign... wheirdh.

HFS.. the ending has my head spinning. I don't know what's real and what's not.

Okay, I think I know the whole story now.. and it's fucked. There's a lot of noise out there regarding the ending. Spoiler:
Everything after the 2nd mission is all in Player's head as he/she is dying. Player's DNI connection to Taylor has him going in the past and reliving Taylor's missions. The Life mission (last mission) is really Player's death (symbolized by him/her identifying themselves as Taylor, i.e. Player is dead, Taylor lives on).
It's not clear if Hendricks also died on the operating table or if he was even on the operating table at all. But from the comics, Hendricks lives on, so I guess he never joined the program.
The biggest clue is the first mission is the rescue, it takes place after the Cairo uprising, as Khalil is called a hero of the uprising. Later in the story, Khalil acts like he's never met you and declares the start of the Cairo uprising. So chronologically, saving him in the first mission is many years after the mission that occurs later on (in Player's head).
