I got it a couple of days ago. I'm usually not a big fan of FPS games, but this game is a must have, especially in HD and surround sound!

 

CRAP!! As I was driving on my lunch break to GS, I get a phone call to my cell. "Hi, this is an important messege from GameStop. Due to shipping problems, your copy of Call of Duty 3 will not arrive today, please call your store to avoid unneccessary (sp) trip".

I was already on my way, and it was true, no CoD 3.

I asked for GOW and they have not gotten their pre orders either.

I understand pre-ordering Game Platforms, but I have never understood the need to pre-order games. Do you get the games early or something? In your case, I guess not. lol I always just buy them at Best Buy or Circuit City release day and I have never not been able to get the game I want.

Today, for instance, at 2pm I bought GOW & COD3 on Bestbuy.com and got a "Ready to Pick-Up" e-mail 20 minutes ago.

Am I missing something here.

 

^^ werd. I too buy at BestBuy or Fry's (some times discounted) all my games. Get it on release day. Gamestop have never once had games in stock for me, they always miss their shipment. At least the ones I like.

Played this single player and online as well. Both are pretty good. I might get hooked on this one now after COD2.

 

I got mine yesterday (wed) at noon, and have been playing it all day

 

PC is the only real way to play this game.

 

in some cases it does matter... but only by a day so... for example, all the people that reserved their copy at the local Game Stop... got theirs on tuesday night and all the other people didn't get theirs until late yesterday...

 

I agree. I'm pissed that they did not release a PC version.

Wow, the sniper on this is WAY different than part 2. Harder to snipe. Its also more fast paced than part 2.

 

Good game but my goodness the British suck at figthing.

I noticed that too. Picked it up Sunday and played it for the first time last night. Such an awesome game...

 

HAHA well the French just run up with a rifle against like 5 germans with machine guns. No wonder why they loose all their wars.

 

The single player game is awesome, but multiplayer > *

 

Multi is so dark, I can hardly see anything on my old Panny 1080i. I wish it had Option like screen setting the way they have in singleplayer mode.

 

I haven't had any problems.

Yes! 360 version was released first. However, it is for Xbox too and as per IGN Xbox version is the longest singleplayer with addittional mission before the 1st mission of 360.
