I like playing 3 but the songs get old after awhile. It will be nice to have a new song list.

Track list is pretty weak but I wish Rock Band had Spirit of Radio.

My Blockbuster doesn't even have Smash Hits to rent. I think Van Halen is coming soon too. These fuckers just kill the genre.

Rock band is too easy even on Expert IMO.

 

I rented GHWT and own RB2. The note path was very difficult to distinguish for drums on expert on WT. It seemed to me on Rock Band that it was easier because it was easier to distinguish the notes and timing as in WT the notes were too close together. Metallica seemed to have fix this as I was passing expert songs much more and with higher percentages then in WT. As a matter of fact I rented Metallica at launch and rented WT only about a month ago so my drum skills were better for WT. I did prefer Metallica much more than WT and will pick it up when it drops to like $20 as I'm a fan. I read a lot of complaints (non RB fanbois) about this and it seemed Metallica fixed some of the mechanics. I wanted to rent Smash Hits but my BB doesn't carry it for PS3.

If you're looking for amount of songs to play, Rock Band monopolizes that since GH only releases at most 3 songs a week of a lot of unknown acts.

 

Rock band is better...and not stupidily saturating the market with a new game every other week.

 

I rented this last night. The bass kick for the drums is the same color as the measure separator. Plus some of the songs sound like ass. I played about 15 songs and was not impressed. I'll give it another run before I mail it back.
