not to be a buzzkill but I just got into a modded lobby

I was surprised, all of a sudden the map changed without having enough votes. Then these guys ran in like they didn't care... thought I was gonna get a double kill but nothing registered. I left early but other people were saying they got hurt when they hurt other people.

It happened in the Resurgence playlist... so beware

Believe me, Booster Hunting is one of the funnest things to do in MW2. I never really cared about winning FFAs.... its incredibly satisfying to put down douchebags like them knowing that they'll eventually rage quit. You can also follow them, it gets them real pissed.

You'll see a few spots in that vid where they commonly like to hide. Also check out "Booster Justice" on youtube. I even stumbled upon some boosters in one of my montages

It also just goes to show how little Activision/IW cares about the gameplay too... why in the hell would you need a tactical insertion in FFA and how hard is it to eliminate it from that game mode?

My booster hunting class is a silenced MP5 with scavenger, cold-blooded/stopping power, either ninja or sitrep and C4 or semtex. Some of them use heartbeat sensors so if you just listen closely you can hear the zipper and cocking of a gun when they respawn from a TI when they're close. It gets more difficult when there's one or two guys camping standing guard though.

I got em a couple times, but I don't quite know all the hiding spots, and now they are using silenced weapons so they don't show up on radar.

I just don't even see how that makes the game any fun. The best part of the game for me is earning the titles/callsigns and upgrades.

I like to play FFA simply because I ALWAYS get on a team that sucks for any other game mode.

People who use tactical insertions to spawn in the same spot.... they go into a FFA and they have a friend who joins their lobby hopefully before its full and then they hide in a spot where no one would think to look and they use silenced guns to get headshots (I think this is to get titles) or nukes

Whoever got me the other day had by far the coolest game winning kill cam. This guy was following me up the stairs and knifes me in the back as I'm jumping out a window. The game glitches and I went FLYING across the map and landed somewhere....it was fucking awesome

decided to play tonight, got on FFA at Karachi, no boosters. Triple Kill with a predator (first time for me, this is not easy to do on FFA, there is rarely ever more than 2 people alive and in the same area at the same time for very long, let alone 3), went on to win 22-12 straight out on this first game. felt shaky on the aiming but I guess it worked out.

dude that sounds hilarious! It's also funny as hell knifing someone coming up a ladder... but I've never seen someone flying and in a final killcam too

noice. I was feeling that too.... if I don't play for even a few days my accuracy won't be spot on. But once I play a few days in a row, even less than an hour each day and I'll get the ironsight right on the guy on the first try. The first time I went back to MW2 after playing BC2 (meh) it was like a good month, and man it felt like I had to relearn how to play the game.

So time ran out before someone got to 30 kills?

yeah ran out of time. you know, regardless of all the negative crap which goes on, and all the complaints, etc, I have to say, this is one of the most enjoyable games I've ever played.

yeah, it's probably the second most fun, only behind SOCOM II. I don't think I'll ever have more fun than when I was playing that with my clan and friends from school. I miss those days

Done. The kill shows up with the knife logo. kinda disappointing cause someone else got me right afterwards, though I think I finished that game 61-6 and another guy on my team was 60-3. We were spawnraping them at A on strike domination

Strike = spawnrape galore. I just watched SandyRavage's latest video, he got four triple kills in a row with an AC-130, three of them with just the big cannon.

I forgot how much fun "regular" TDM could be. I've been on nothing but Ground War for quite a while now.

I didn't do too good after that either. I partied up with some other member on here and we played against a bunch of dropshotting campers on Fuel. Most of my kills were from people standing behind windows or laying down, or from shooting someone in the back. then someone on our team was using OMA with a noob tube so in the next round on Vacant all of them were using that very combo, and the rest of the guys were camping doorways with shotguns or machine guns. Kind of a good thing you were done for the day, lol

Kind of funny, but commando's lunge is only half that distance, and its instantaneous.

found another gun I like, the L86. It's quieter than the RPD and I think thats a good thing. And what makes it better than the RPD, is it can do 2-shot kills without FMJ.

And on another note, did a lot of booster-hunting today. Felt good. Had another Predator triple kill. felt good. lol. Had a funny kill-cam, a guy threw a Semtex up at me (from ground level), I was up on the high rooftop perch on Crash, and he killed me with that Semtex on the killcam.

Finally played again last weekend. sucked pretty bad, although i had fun throwing semtexs at people with shields. I also had a funny kill where the guy jumped out out of the window and on to my C4, then blew him straight up.

the Lego guns are cool! That rifle was really impressive. Props to them for making the SPAS though.... one of my faves in MW2. I was using the SPAS still even when I unlocked the akimbo 87's and everyone was using them.
