try the EBR sniper with Thermal (or something else you like), silencer, CB (or stopping power), Ninja.. and, stay out of the middle area, just flank the sides and also there are some really good places to pick people off, pick a spot by the adjacent stationary machine guns... with the above setup I've also had good success just standing along one of the leafy walls and sniping people from there and moving around - real stealthy with the Gillie suit. Give it a shot!

That's what I usually do, but I end up getting owned by the other snipers. Part of the problem is that I'm not too familiar with the map. I usually back out of the game if I see that it's the map. I guess I just need to play it more.

geebus, ive been paying 3rd person team tactical the past few days and its screwed me up when i went back to ground war.

...so last night, I found out the hard way that you can die from your own care package. I was playing in "Terminal" and in order to let the package drop down you have to break the skylight. Anyway, it fell through and landed on me, thus killing me. I'll admit it was kinda funny. It was brought up at intermission/between games and these little punk ass kids started calling me noob and making smart ass comments.
On the next game, sure enough all of them were on the other team, and BOY! Did I give it to them. Needless to say, they shut da fuck up thereafter. (a couple left before the game ended)

I think both times it happened after it had already hit the ground, i.e. it hit me during its "roll"...

I started playing free for alls last night, found out that it's apparently my game. placed third or higher 10 games in a row. Had one hilarious one. started the game using nothing special just a FAL setup, stabbed 4 guys off the bat, one guy basically fell into the knife. Than all four of them tried to get me back at roughly the same time. one or two rounds per person max. By the third person, I said "you guys gotta stop trying to kill me."
Got a predator, airstrike, and an emergency air drop. Air drop comes in and everyones trying to get it, I pop off the first three guys and get two packages but got killed trying to get my other two sentry guns.
So while they're fighting over them, I hit all of them with the predators. Then send in a pave lov and my air strike. Also ended up getting a nice winning kill, sniper runs by me, I fire two rounds realize he's close enough, lunge, he turns around and I stabbed him in the face.

the thing is... I'll admit, at times, I camp... but that particular time, I wasn't even trying to camp... I went to one corner of the map and killed like 2-3 of them... Our UAV was up, they kept respawning near me... and kept coming after me... well, I was stuck at that corner... What was I suppose to do? give them a head start?
It wasn't my fault they're not using the cold blooded or ninja perk... and that perk where it makes your feet steps quieter.

yeah, and there's always a double standard too.... I'm pretty sure most people here have seen how I play. but when almost their entire team camps that means you have to look in 2 or 3 different corners down every hallway, so the odds are against you. In those cases, I do the same because it's pointless to rush them because around every corner there's at least one or two campers pointing their guns down the hall, waiting for someone to show up.

This game is making me rage today. All day I've been constantly getting stabbed in the back by knifers, and I hate the level design that IW went with. Why would you make it so that no matter where you are theres like 20 different angles where people can see you from? 
I miss the MW1 maps where you had good head on battles or where you could flank if you were stealthy enough. Running around in circles and shooting people in the back/getting shot in the back is really getting old tbh.
Yea yea, "adapt to the new gameplay, its the way it is". I know. I still think its really annoying. And I don't suck, I just get annoyed at the retardedness sometimes.
And yet I cant stop playing.

too lazy to find the pics, but I have the standard gray background SPAS-12 title and the 8-bit Captain Price that looks like Mario. I'm trying to get the final SPAS-12 titles.... ~1400 kills and ~140 headshots so far
