360, PS3, PC, Wii: Call of Duty - Modern Warfare 2
I thought the patched that sprinting glitch? The other day I was playing and this dickhead was running around at blazing speed carrying a CP grenade and stabbing people.
It was out of control. I must have been stabbed 10 times by him. I almost smashed my TV.
I am glad ME2 finally came.

edit: I've heard the reason it is not patched on xbox yet is because it needs to go through microsoft and XBL first or something like that..

I get disc read errors nearly every time I play this game. It just happens once and usually in the first 10 minutes of playing. Then I restart and I'm good to go for hours. Anyone else have this problem with their XBOX360 and know of a fix?
^^^
Yes, do an install, it will run much better. I was thinking the other day how reliable the game has been given the days I have put into it. IW did a good job excluding a few rather small glitches.

I still don't get the point of installing the game. You still need the disc to play it.
When I installed NFS Shift, I was hoping it decreased the load times, but it didn't make a difference.

I think there are four benefits.
1: Less noise.
2: More reliable. Most times a game freezes it seems to be DVD drive related.
3: Faster loading times, not significant, but noticeable
4: I've read that using the HDD creates less heat than the DVD drive. Not sure if true
Maybe my fan is messed up then. I just installed ME2 to the hd and it is still loud as hell.
The heat part seems to be true, though. Mine is relatively cool to the touch.
It's hard to say about the load times. They don't seem any different to me.

So I started out playing pretty well tonight. Joined a game with a hacker on my team

Joined another game and owned

Then I got into a ground war match on estate. I went 34-0 in the first 2 minutes and they thought I was hacking

Finished the game pretty good

So I changed my name to NOT HACKING and got into a game with a hack on the other team. Didn't do so well there.

So I joined a free for all and redeemed myself there

So that was all my games tonight. Now I'm off to bed. The FAMAS is a beast, by the way.

I've been playing at my friends houses and I MAY be going to the PS3 side.... my friends are getting PS3s and playing MW2 on them
I just don't like the PS3 controller or analog sticks as much. I don't have a nice LCD yet, but IF I do get a PS3 I'll have a sweet BR player too...

I like the sticks on the 360 controller because they have those divots in the top that keep my fingers from slipping off. There were countless times back in the SOCOM days where my fingers would get sweaty and I'd get killed because they slipped when I went to aim at someone. I actually super glued denim patches to the top of the sticks to keep my fingers from slipping
for those of you with 360, I highly recommend this:
it's cheap and makes a huge difference. I don't have excessive hand sweat, but every week or so of regular playing would result in dirt building up on the trigger buttons and in the cracks of the controller. It makes it a lot more comfortable if you play for more than 15-30 minutes. Once it gets sticky, just take it off, wash it with warm water and soap and it's good to go.
I can't vouch for these personally but I also found these accessories for PS3 and 360. Anyone willing to give them a try?
