Trust me, the...what? $6/month is worth getting XBox LIVE. why do you think people still do it? Because the live gaming experience is waaaaaay better.

 

^Werd. I only play on Xbox online now. So I sold my PS3 games after. Of course, the fact that most of my friends play on Xbox made it a factor.

Debating whether or not to get this game at launch because Activision is going to charge us PC gamers a $60 price tag for the game...

 

Same price for the PS3 and XBox games. what is it, $10 more? I'd pay that to have it even a day early

 

Well because that is the standard for console gamers, on the PC side any high profile game usually starts at $49.99. The fact that Activision knows that they are going to make tons of money from this game, they can charge us pc gamers that $10 increase. Plus its more of the principle, if activision can start charging us $60 for a game, what is stopping other game companies from doing the same?
It is like a double edge sword, because if no one buys the game then activision will think next time they won't make a pc version and if it sell well then they realized they could sell pc games at a higher price.

On another note, with everything going the digital download route, I can't see why it would cost cheaper to distributed on pc.

you should be glad this game is even on the PC... a lot of games aren't.

Finally got a game in with the AZ crew after a loooong time. Nice playing with you guys.... Anhedonia can't see this but him and his friends are beast. I couldn't even get out of the spawn on some games.... meanies

wow that 360 is awesome.... I thought it was overpriced at first for being $400 but for what you get its pretty nice. an extra controller, plus you get the game with it, and an extra 130gb over the elite... nice!

I didn't check Anhedonia's K/D but he was beastin it. But then again his team camped the spawn without going in and resetting the spawn points, so anyone on the other team got screwed. It was cool playing with his team but IMO I like playing in smaller groups, its kinda boring if there's no challenge and everyone is just camping the other team's spawn.

Do you guys ever play Hardcore Team Deathmatch? Sly got me into it. Requires a lot more communication. You pretty much have to have a mic.

Yeah man that's pretty much all I ever play.

 

Hardcore TDM is the best, I like how you don't have to empty so many rounds into someone. You get a good shot, take it and they're dead.

 

I friggin hate the perk last stand. In HTDM, a lot of people use this and the campers are all corners ready to pick you off. I only enjoy it when I have a good team.

You guys up for this in our next AZ meet?

 

I've pretty play HTDM now. They only I don't is when playing with you guys.

It's not like people are going to die on purpose to get a death streak. You still have to die 4 times in a row with no kills to get it.

 

That happens all the time though. I just think it would send me into rage mode when my kill streak gets ruined by someone who gets rewarded for sucking. We'll see lol

i pre-ordered mine a couple weeks ago! only 40,000 being made!
not really a huge CoD fan.. i play here and there but the 250GB hard drive was enough to sell me on it.. my faithful white xbox finally crapped out after 4 years.. and with them releasing 360 games on the marketplace now... 250GB HD ftw!

if you want one.. i'd hurry... Gamestop sent my local store a letter saying over 12,000 were gone after the 1st week
