I've decided to stop keeping up with news about the game. It'll be that much better if it's a surprise when I get it.

I really hope they have some sort of co-op play. So far, haven't seen anything of the like.

 

They do, it's called spec-ops mode. No single player co-op

so, there IS co-op, but no single player... does that mean we can play online co-op? Sorry for the dumb question, I've never really played co-op before, but I'm intrigued.

 

Info is all over the place. Here's a video of one of the missions. There are multiple gametypes, one of which is a horde mode which should be fun as hell. Seeing that the vids are full screen play and not split screen, I bet this will be online.

Lately I've been having a lot of fun owning on Old School Free for All on COD4. :devilgrin

 

...so, even though I told myself to never "pre-order" games again (cuz it's just not necessary), I caved in yesterday and put down $5 at GameStop for a copy... I guess the store by my house is having this WHOLE day event on the 9th... The employee said something about a shooting range is going to be set up... I'm thinking like some kind of laser-tag/paintball thing... but anyway, I'm not worry about the game selling out (cuz that just doesn't happen anymore), but I WANT my copy the night before

 

yea of all the big games that have come out, ive always went on the midnight relase and they were never sold out.

although maybe the following days they are sold out

 

I, honestly can't remember the last time a game was sold out...

I think I've told this story before, but last time I reserved a game... it was Halo 3 and the day of release, there still WAS a line at GS, but it was like 15 minutes or so... I get the game, and decided to stop by Target across from the parking lot... I walked in... and there was a whole shelf of Halo 3 in every edition... no line.

but this is different... like I said, I know it won't sell out, they're not stupid... but I want it the night before... in fact, I'll probably NOT schedule any clients for the 10th, just so I can play it all day

 

Ha, I scheduled myself off from work for a few days starting on the release date.

 

Thinking about plunking down the 150 for the prestige edition eventhough I can get a burned copy for $5. I dunno, wanna give money to the developers and such but $150 is a lot of money and well lets be honest, the girlfriend will have a field day with me geeking out about a video game.

bummer.. my fiancee was the one who pushed me to buy the COD console bundle ($450) i got her hooked on xbox when the lego games came out... havent had a problem spending money since

Buddy of mine pre-paid for this game for my birthday. So I will definitely picking this up on release day.

We were leaving blockbuster a couple nights ago, and they had a CODMW2 countdown timer. It was at 24 days... I pointed and said to my wife. You got 24 days before you start seeing a lot less of me.

 

Same here. My wife has been warned and then reminded again that I am not going to be available at all during the time I have off for some CODMW2 playing.

 

 

use the xbox 360 memory card...

it will take a few times to transfer everything... (even with the 512mb one)



and they also sell a transfer cable to move from one HD to another...



im using my 512mb memory card to transfer everything i consider important (gamertags, save games i dont want to beat again...etc

and stuff purchased through XBL can be re-downloaded by going to download history....





BTW... i would order the console NOW... they are only offering 40,000 of these and from what i hear.. there are a substantial amount of those already gone....
