man i cant beat the level where your in the farmhouse while the DSM is downloadign! im bout to throw my fuckin controller at the TV!!! any tips on how to beat it?? on veteran difficulty

Yea that was hard even in normal. What I did was camped out in the house by the computer so i could see all the way to the side door and the stairs from the basement and pick off people. If anyone came in the front door I'd put a few rounds into their right side when they rushed in.

After the timer ran out I grabbed the dsm and jumped out the window and ran down the driveway turned around picked off some people. Then made a dash to the pick up zone on the left side of the path.

lol don't know if you beat it yet but I had the same problem on veteran too I got pissed off too. Here's what I did: (spoilers below)

If you're having problems while the DSM is downloading, camp behind the staircase going upstairs right by the DSM. plant claymores by the staircase going to the basement and the doorway going outside. Also plant one in that room behind you with all the weapons. After the DSM downloads, keep camping and killing all the stragglers. Ghost should be the only guy left alive and he'll probably leave without you.

Don't leave the house until you stop hearing the bad guys talking. There's a room upstairs with a bunch of weapons, camp there if you need. The bad guys will come inside to the room where the DSM is.... peek out of the room with the weapons crouched and pick off enemies. Look between the staircase and that 2nd floor computer "room", you should see their legs... shoot them.

Now if you're having trouble getting downhill, which is the part which made me want to break my controller too, after killing all the bad guys, go out from the side of the house, then break all the way to the right where the field/farm is. There shouldn't be any enemies right here. Just sprint until you can hide behind the houses, then pick off anyone behind you that's too close. Keep going behind the houses and run until you get to the checkpoint. Throw flashbangs and frags down between the trees where the enemies are, then kill them.

There'll be something funny at the bottom waiting for you

Can't tell you... just play it! I was in a daze, I was determined to beat the game in at most 2 sittings and that level pissed me off. I tried going different directions, and turning around and killing the 10+ bad guys that come up the hill behind the house... nope. The way I did it, it worked on the first try to get to the checkpoint, though I got killed a few times afterwards when I was down the hill and there were some enemies behind the trees.

The hardest part for me was running away.... make sure you run like hell cause once you leave the house, there'll be an angry mob on your ass

 

yea some of the missions are crazy.

i didnt like that one and the one where you have to run thru the boneyard.

well i did like it, but i died alot and almost smashed my controller in half.

The WA2000 is SWEEEEET. Just went 26-3 with it and the raffica. Funny thing is, I was using the thermal scope in this one spot almost the whole time, and they kept throwing smoke and trying to run by thinking I wouldn't be able to see them I just mowed them down

 

What's the difference between the Holographic and RDS in-game? Supposedly the Holo sight has aim assist that goes a little farther.... but the reticle itself is a little bigger. and supposedly it has more zoom, but it's barely noticeable

I like how the kill cam is longer now. Hopefully this stops dumbasses of accusing me of camping when I hear their footsteps and aim down the sights before they even come around the corner

I noticed I suck at sniping now... is it just me? Maybe I haven't found all the good sniping spots yet or I'm sniping on the wrong maps but when I sniped on Highrise I killed someone only once every 3-4 shots

This game is ridiculous.

I started the campaign last night. The missions are awesome so far. The one in the snowstorm was fun.

 

I <3 the FAL + red dot. Reticle on the middle of the enemy, two quick trigger pulls, and he's down. Reminds me of MW1's G3 + M14

so how much hours have some of you logged on already. I think i got about 6 hours logged but some of my buddies got like 1d 2h. I think a zombie mode game would make this game that much more enjoyable.

 

I think I am almost at 8 Hours but then again I have had it since last friday.

 

Whats your guys favorite maps so far? I really like almost all of them, except for Wasteland. God what a boring map.

I just went on a binge today, in addition to the day I first got it. I'm at 13 hrs. Not sure when I got the FAL.... but the sight on it sucked at first. gotta earn the red dot. oh and one more thing for guys who don't know.... after you shoot the predator missile, if you press the "fire" button again (RT on 360) it turns on the afterburner to help get those guys that are running away.

The thermal scope kicks ass btw, especially on maps like Underpass (the rainy one). Not sure if its my TV or just me but I noticed its hard to see people far away... thermal scope makes them a bright white beacon. I didn't even know it was like a sniper scope, in that you could steady it to aim better

I have been using my noob class lately. It consists of:

M4 with grenade launcher
Thumper
Grenade

Scavenger, so I can get more m203's after I shoot them off
Danger Close, so the grenades do more damage

It's so fun, and annoying for everyone else. I have the "Noob Tuber" callsign too now lol

 

Thermal scope is great when the other team isn't using cold-blooded.
