Game is fun so far.

 

I was going to wait until Christmas to get this game, since I just got Forza3. But I found out that my local Frys is having a sale $47.89 for MW2. Plus all this talk in this thread has made it hard to wait!

 

You know whats sad? Forza3 and Dragon Age Origins are two of the best games I've ever played on my 360. And I probably wont pick them up again till next year. Well maybe Forza, but still CODMW2 just made a whole bunch of my other games jealous. Are there even any other game companies making major releases right now, cuz I sure didn't notice.

I went to the local Walmart and didn't even have to stand in line. In and out in 5 mins. In the same shopping center there is a Game Stop. Prob about 75-100 people outside in line with 2 cops posted up to do "crowd control" I drove by and told them that walmart had a ton of copys and that there was no line.. You should have seen all of them scatter. LMAO

 

yup, when I reserved Halo 3.... I stood in line for about 10 minutes at GameStop (the day of, NOT the night before), anyway... afterwards, I decided to go to Target across the parking lot and the same exact thing happened... NO lines at all... and a couple shelves of them.

But the only reason why I did it for this game is... because I HAD to HAVE it the night before... since I'm kinda a night owl anyway.... I knew I'd be up playing it... For the people that went and stood in line at midnight.... then just took it home and didn't play it until today... then that was kinda pointless. Prior to this game... all I ever play was COD4, literally daily. So, for me... getting it the night before was kinda a "must" for me.

 

I got it right at midnight from walmart, was playing it in 25 mins. Stayed up all night and most of the day playing.

 

oh, I didn't know Walmart did the midnight thing... actually, I don't think all of them did...

 

I know most of the Walmarts around here did it, but they are all supercenter's that stay open 24/7.

 

i've gotten absolutly no work done at all tonight....fml

 

That's why I took the night off. I knew I wasn't going to want to go into work.

 

Yea you can adjust them. I wear glasses and it fits pretty snug in there.

the airport mission was some seriously messed up BS. I was wondering why I couldn't get into the ambulance first, then all of a sudden....

 

Man I forgot how fun leveling int hat game was. I bought it on a whim and now it's 12:30

Also, I spent at least a straight hour beating people to death with the riot shield. It's especially fun hitting a sniper to let them know you are there, then when they turn around and empty a magazine into the shield you hit them again. It works much better after you can equip a non dual wield 2nd weapon though.

 

man already beat the single player campaign.

 

the NVGs are cool, little hard to walk around in thou.

i think if you rigged up a infrared flashlight that doesnt emit any light, you could probably get really good range with it.

This level with the DSM where you have to download info from the safehouse is beyond retarded. This is on veteran btw. They only shot up the DSM once when I turned around but getting to the extraction point is fucking impossible. I tried running towards the field and before I can make it to any cover I get killed. I go through the other side of the pond, and I get killed. I try and take them head on but there's 30+ of them and I get killed. I camp inside the house and pick off all the stragglers, then I run and make it pretty far then I get killed. I'm about to go ape shit on my controller

How the FUCK am I supposed to get to the objective when I can't see who's shooting me because of some eight feet tall grass, and not to mention there are people shooting at me from 3 different sides? I take cover from the fire prone behind a huge ass bale of hay and I still die. WTF?!

 

isn't that the point of playing on veteran? it's supposed to be ridiculously hard?

i suck. on COD4, i just played normal and hardened.

 

Yeah, veteran is hard. Challenging is good.... I like a challenge. I definitely don't wanna play a whole game and not die/fail, it just means something's wrong. But it was ridiculous. Normally you'd have things to take cover behind and there's maybe 10 bad guys in the picture at once focused on you, and maybe 4-5 shooting at you at most. But it was a massacre.

oh, so anyways after some deliberation.... I mopped up ALL of them, then went all the way to the right where those farms were and ran along that side.... then when I made it down to the bottom I was met by another nice surprise from Shepherd

 

Played Multiplayer last night for the first time. Wow I suck, and there was so many things going on it got confusing for me.

 

I cant get onto stupid fing PS3 network. Just hangs up trying to find a game

Single player is sweet but I want to do some multi!!

 

and we get made fun of for paying for online

 

Lightweight pro perk seems pretty good.. I went against this guy who had it and he made me yell WHAT at the TV quite a few times..

also harrier strike is crazy.. also Costco's k/d ratio right now is crazy lol

 

i stay over 1.0 at all times 1.5 is good for me

its no 4+ but at least im contributing to winning the game..

me and my clan are doing well also.

since we started playing together last night we won 10 straight before i had to get off... we are mixed levels so far from 10-22.

eventually everyone will be caught up together so the competition isnt so scattered and we'll start losing...

but its just a blast to play with friends reguardless...

I joined up for a few matches, but somehow ended up on those dumbass kids team and couldn't last 2 minutes listening to them. Nate and Costco were owning fools. I sucked it up bigtime.

 

The only way to do multi-player is online though?

 

haha oh well, we should have had you in the party before we went in! Those kids were really annoying though, that's for sure.
