I'm starting to like the care package, harrier and pave low. Most people aren't smart enough or don't have a CB class to shoot down air support. Having both up at the same time is death, plus I kinda like to go around while my killstreaks back me up, instead of trying to find a hiding spot and then bombing them from afar.

aircraft are tending to get shot down pretty quick in FFA these days. I know I'm helping, because I shoot em down as fast as I can, trying to get CB pro. It's so fun standing right out in front of a Pave low or Harrier and aiming to my heart's content, as everyone else scurries for cover

my favorite is AC130. mainly because very hard to shoot down. I also like it because you get to control it. But I have almost no experience using it because I rarely get one. I had 2 the other day, and one time I think I got 6 kills with it which I thought was decent. It has different guns you can switch right? A) how to switch and B) which is the most effective? thanks

On pc it's pressing 1, and I'm guessing for ps3 you switch with triangle. The 105mm is most powerful, and takes 5 seconds to reload. Fire with the 105 then switch to the medium one, which you can fire 4 times until it has to reload for 3 seconds. Don't fire them all at once, but try to make each one count, then switch back to the big gun. The little gun isn't that great. I only use it when the other two are reloading

are you talking about Non-online multi-player or online multi? If you mean on-line multi, i think you just first invite your friend to your party and then choose 1 vs 1

No, you can't join 1v1 with a party of 2 people. You have to join on your own, then invite your friend in.

oh and on the AC-130 and I guess the chopper gunner too.... my friend showed me how he does it. He has a class with one man army and sometimes hardline, then when he gets his AC-130 or CG, he switches to a class with danger close pro, then he finds a hiding spot and rains down hell. It makes everything have a bigger radius and it kills them faster too.

The glitch is fixed. I think they've fixed most everything I've complained about. Nothing too abusive right now. I think the exception is the care package stabbing glitch. Other than that, the game is much better now.

What console? On 360 it's Y. Not sure about PS3 (try the button that you normally use to switch weapons)

The AC130 and Chopper Gunner are toss ups for me depending on maps. If you're on a city-ish map, it is better to go with AC130 because of the primary gun's explosive splash power. Otherwise, go with CG (Wasteland is much better for CG).

What you're suppose to do with the AC130 is to shoot the primary gun, switch to second gun and shoot a couple of shots, then finally use third gun very briefly. Switch back to primary and repeat. It takes a while for the primary explosive shot to reload and it will reload while you are using the other guns. This essentially lets you rain down on people non-stop. I don't think many people know this and they just wait for the primary gun reload.

Costco's tip is pretty good. Danger Close Pro is VERY GOOD when it comes to air support. I've been using it pretty often with Precision Airstrike and it almost always gets me at least 3 kills. Once in a domination map, it landed me 7 person multi-kill. DC Pro makes the explosions huge.

i can never get a multi-kill with an airstrike, i usually get kills in waves.

i think with stealth bomber thou i got a triple.



last night i did get a triple kill with the ak-47 grenade launcher

same here, on a few maps I'd be happy with either one.

but I like the AC-130 on big maps like Afghan, wasteland, derail and even underpass. I just like the intimidation factor - not sure when about you guys but when I hear that big cannon SCREAMING while it's headed towards you it's kinda scary. not to mention the big ass dust cloud it kicks up, preventing people from seeing you or the way to the closest building. the machine gun is nice for mopping painkillers who are slowed down for the small cannon or idiots sitting right by a window.

I like the CG a lot for highrise, invasion, rundown and skidrow. It often moves you into position to their hiding spots and near where they spawn. Aside from rundown, those three maps are hard as hell to get AC-130 kills on IMO. on highrise you can shoot through the windows and if you shoot through the windows you can kill them in their spawn.

either way.... if you trap them in their spawn, they both work well.

not sure about you guys either but I've gotten stuck on the M16 again just like in COD4. The sight is actually better than it was in COD4, either that or the graphics improved.... still, at first for some reason I couldn't use it. Now its the only gun I use at the moment, with my SPAS-12 for room clearing.

I have no idea what attachment to use on my SPAS-12 though. I tried shooting a wall with and without FMJ and it doesn't seem to make a difference. and the grip helps for automatic shotguns, but this is a pump-action.....

I had a game where I went 35-4 on domination and I got just the AC-130, on underpass

didn't record it though, but nobody shot me down and I just destroyed them.

Play the single player, haha. That's where I found out about it. But I think it also says press "Y" to change weapons on XBox. I think people are more preoccupied with shooting than looking at anywhere else on the screen.

I love it when no one shoots you down. Had an AC130 on Highrise and people just kept coming out for me to shoot. Awesome.

20?? That's pretty impressive. I think I average out around 6 or 7 for the most part. The outlier is a 14 I got lucky with on Skidrow.


And I know this probably pisses off some people but I've been practicing spawn tubing so much lately. On domination maps, you know exactly where people will be going so you aim towards their first capture. Half the time you'll probably get one or two kills.

One of my best games was on Wasteland Domination where I shot Capture Point A within the first 10 seconds of the map, got 6 kills (one grenade multi-kill), used my Precision Airstrike, got 3 kills and Harrier took me to 12 and then used AC130 to 19 kills within the first 2 minutes of the game. Ended with 34-5.

crazy. I tried some COD4 on PC the other day, this is ALL that was going on - you'd have like clusters of 4-5 people spawning in the same place and just constantly being killed over and over again. it was hilarious and crazy, at the same time.
