Its not me trying to get back into action, its the enemy spawning right next to me while I'm in the middle of the action, especially when I kill him right before he literally spawns a few feet away from me. Wasteland is a good example of it. I rush towards one of the ends of the stretch of hedges (C flag I think). I kill the first guy coming around the bend and get into a busy fire fight with the next. Then WTF! out of no where I get bullets to the brain from a dude to my left. The killcam showed me killing the dude and then him spawning in that little tin shed thing and then him sending bullets towards me. I almost raged quit after that happened.

This is the thing where it spawns close to your killer so you have a chance to get them back - and then you get that Payback thing. kinda sucks, but yeah it happens. The way to avoid this is MOVE right away after you kill someone - if you're in a stealthy place, move to somewhere (nearby) where they wouldn't expect you to be, somewhere you can see them come in looking for you, and then you can nab them again. it can be fun if you play the system!

its called "tactical insertion". You throw down a green flare where you want to respawn at after you die. That way you can spawn closer to your objective and not have run the whole length of the map again.

yeah I was trying to tell you where guys were etc. Its good to have that stuff one. cause when Im with my clan or in game buddy, we let each other know where people are camping of if there is a tango near them.

just had a thrilling game at Rust (which I rarely get to play, I think it just doesn't come up much in FFA) - I got "Omnicide" emblem which is kill entire enemy "team" within 10 seconds.. that was cool. I had a sentry gun which did some good work to that effect.

We were playing sabotage on Terminal and the other side had to plant the bombs. A was by the escalators on top. and B was in the plane. We had 2 sentry guns inside the plane. One in the front and one in the back.. no one got close to blowing that thing up.

I think most have 360, the online community (from what I hear) is much better.

Had my best game ever last night. went 52-21 (I know too many deaths) in Ground War-Domination on Rundown.
Had a chopper gunner CP that got me many many kills
Then had a quick 5 kill streak, predator missle got me harriers and the CP was more harriers....still lost the match though, guy for the other team had a good spot to guard the one flag

No idea what the numbers are like on PS3, but around 10PM to 12AM my time (california), theres usually anywhere between 300,000 to 400,000 people on. Around the same time, on computer, there is about 30,000. I'm guessing PS3 is somewhere in between that.

anyone else feel that wasteland is a map where you can have this insane score or just a completely horrible score??
i got back to back wasteland games yesterday on TDM with the same people and i went 33-6 first game and 12-15 next game

both Wasteland and Skidrow are one of those maps where I'll either completely dominate the other team or do mediocre

yeah agreed on Wasteland, for sure. Skidrow I would say too, and not surprisingly when either map comes up on the deck, I do a ....

AK47 is fun.. been trying it out, also trying the FAL, that is rather fun as well. 2nd mainstay is the AUG + FMJ. But, I'm noticing that when I really want to get down to business (i.e. WIN), I pull out the M16 + FMJ or FAMAS + FMJ. Those go to town!

i hope new maps come out soon. Im getting tired of playing the same maps over and over again. But Favela is the one map i do really well or really horrible.

yeah totally getting tired... but Im always happy when I get Favela or Rundown - my two top favs. And nowdays I'm even happy with Underpass. I like Highrise, Sub Base, and Terminal, lately I have also started liking Estate... I stay out of the house. Easy to pick off lots of people on the main paths. I like Quarry. But Skidrow, Invasion, Scrapyard, are all kind of "eh". I like Karachi though. But not like, a lot. lol

can't f'in wait for new maps. but also by then we'll have the new Battlefield and GT5.... but I have a feeling I will return to COD for some time to come... driving is fun but I don't find it as good stress-relief as COD.

I've been playing Spec-Ops recently, man some of those missions are hard! The estate takedown on Veteran is damn near impossible without co-op....those falking juggernauts!

yeah spec ops is a bitch! hate that lol. sometimes i just go in the winter sniping thing and take out one guy far away, and then how the fawk does everyone know where I'm at, even if Im totally hidden? lame.

just had a match at underpass, I had two Pave Low crates waiting that I couldn't get to in time. horrible.
