Got some incredible games in tonight. Probably 75% of the games I had were 3/1 KD ratio. Either the really good people were out partying or a lot of noobs started playing.

One of the ways my gameplay has changed ever since using ninja and CB is, I havent been knifing as much.

so I wanted to try changing something in my current config.. (M16 + heartbeat + FMJ / Coldblooded / ninja pro) - I changed CB to Stopping power, and had this game, it felt so easy - 2 kills from a Predator, 2-3 from a Sentry gun - maybe 4 from knifing - so about 20 from straight M16. With the stopping power I can kill with one press (3 shots). Before it was taking me 2 or sometimes 3 presses. But, I feel so vulnerable without CB, lol.

and now I took that setup into a different game and got owned lol. clearly differences in skill levels throughout - wish the game would show something like "playing time" or something next to people's names so you can really see how experienced they are.

I noticed something last night. Someone was Lvl 65 Triple Prestige. But he had a 48 Hour Trial or brand new account. In the game, he kept killing himself with the AT4 and ended up with 2 - 104 (yes, 104 deaths). I'm not sure if theres a death/leveling glitch going on, but tell me if you guys have noticed anything like that too.

I like the M16 too. Not sure why but I've gotten used to the ironsights. Plus it sounds more badass than the FAMAS I was one of the few people in COD4 to use an M16 with a silencer instead of the red dot, I guess because of the irons. As with any non-fully auto gun, it's very easy to kill someone who's not sprinting away from you.

I like going loud with it and a grenade launcher to kill people in cover, but a silencer and stopping power works wonder for maps where you get separated from your teammates, like underpass

omg I love the SPAS-12. Screw those 1887s, this is a real man's shotgun. Was on Skidrow, score was 7200-6000ish. Ran to the middle building from the playground, looked up those stairs and saw an enemy, BOOM! guy drops, chik-chik... run up the stairs, peek out and turn left and see a guy camping there crouched, BOOM! chik-chik, he's down..... run through the rooms and go back out to the middle hallway, only to see a guy running away towards the other end... I unload on his back (no homo) and the game's over

for some reason they did not hear the loud ass blast my boomstick makes! game winning killcams with the SPAS are freaking awesome. One other one I remember getting is on Invasion. The killcam starts off with me racking the shotgun which adds to the badassness. The screen had blood on it cause I just got shot by the guy's teammate, but I took him out, another +. Heard footsteps, so I turned around the corner, blasted him and his feet left the ground with his arms and legs stretched out in front of him. classic!

I need to make a montage with this shotty....

ive gotten used to the iron sights on the scar-h,m16 and m4 which are really the 3 i switch back and forth from which helps in choosing perks and what not

i personally like the AA-12 shotty

I've been owning pretty hard with the UMP lately. It's nice, because it does pretty much the same damage with the silencer, and you don't have to use stopping power because it still takes 3 hits to kill from any distance, so I can use cold blooded with it. It's great up close and from medium range, and you can work it from far away but you have to be gentile on the trigger and fire 1-2 round bursts

What I do with it is (on domination, which is what I usually play) use:
ump45 silenced

marathon
cold blooded
steady aim

It's pretty good as a hip-firing gun with steady aim, which is why I use that. With marathon, I can get moderately close to the enemy wherever they are, so the ump's recoil with far away targets isn't as important. Try it out. I think you'll be impressed

yeah I feel like I *should* like the ACOG but it just doesn't feel right - the red dots are fun but I'd just rather have the nades or silencer or heartbeat or something.

I also have killed quite a few people with the grenade launcher/thumper where the grenade hits the person and doesn't 'splode (if that makes sense).

Had my best game ever last night 46-5 on Rust. I climbed on top of the rig, placed a claymore at the top of the ladder (had the scavenger perk), killed 5 people each time they got to the top. Had a sentry gun near the bottom, pave, low, attack chopper. It was mayhem HAHHAHA. I couldn't believe it I'm usually like 1:1 K/D when I play.
