This looks absolutely amazing. The first Test Drive Unlimited was phenomenal. I loved the detail and overall gameplay...
Look at some of the new features in TDU: 2 in the video. Enjoy!!

The Dumb One

i guess this game is more about the story?
i never played the first one, but after having Forza and Midnight Club burned into my head, this games graphics and attention to detail on the cars are sub-par looking.
is it like playing the sims but with cars?

Going to be an awesome game, imo.

After seeing subpar reviews, I held off getting this. Went to $10 on a quick sale on Best Buy a month ago, and my copy finally came in. Have only played it for about five minutes, but it's what I remember, which is good.

Its ok...
I don't feel like it has the same affect on me that the first one did. The graphics, in most areas, have certainly improved. The car physics have somehow gotten worse, and the overall car selection is not on par with some of the other titles out there...No Lambo, Porsche...or even newer Corvettes. Plus, some cars, like the Ford Mustand GT have only one tailpipe. The cockpit view is severly hendered by the "head" moving everytime you turn the wheel. Its nearly impossible to drive in this view because of this.
So, lots of details left out...not much hope for DLC, the cars don't handle that well, etc. I've played it quite a bit, and somewhat enjoy it...just not as much as the previous version.
I will say it is fun to find a car that is simple to drive (ex. Ferrari 328) and cruise around the islands. The exhaust over run on this particular car sounds great!
