After you play any of the objective games FFA and TDM seem really boring.

Game is stuck! WTF am I supposed to do?
I am on the level where I have to escort the Abrams tank to safety. I killed everyone, and now I'm trying to get to the objective, but its blocked by a pickup truck and a bus. There is no way to get around and the dumb tank doesn't even move up when I go back to it. What am I supposed to do?

Damn I love this game. Got it yesterday, completed all the challenges for M16 already! I'm Level 23 right now. HAhahah damn And I still get time to study for my finals monday...
Question for PC players... How do I add friends? Do I have to register it into steam?
Also, if given a IP adress to a server, do you just press ` to bring out console, and type connect "ip address" ?

I also think that at the end of every match, the person at the top shouldn't be based solely on how many kills but it should be based on kills/deaths ratio... I mean... if you had 30 kills but died 25 times... you only net 5 (because you "run and gun") but suppose someone was sniping... had only 15 kills... but yet only died twice he net 13 thus... doing a lot more for the team than the guy that had 30 kills but died 25 times...

i agree. the ranking is quite easy. I'm @ around level 35 on prestige the first time. Some people have gone through the system a good 7 times already. The symbol after completing it once goes to an eagle, then changes to a new symbol each time. If you check the standings, you'll see how many times people have changed.

Not a fan of prestige mode.... I'd rather keep my M82 .50 cal and my Desert Eagle, thanks. Keep that silly badge Activision...
I prefer playing Team Deathmatch, FFA and Domination though. A lot of the objective games are annoying. I'll consistently be in the top 2 or 3 players scorewise in killing matches, yet if my team sucks ass I'll get owned in the objective matches. People camp like a bunch of mofos and nade spam all day. Not to mention ridiculous respawns in the middle of an airstrike or right next to a live nade, or within several feet of a few enemies.
FFA has to be the most intense.... nothing like FFA on Bog, Ambush or Vacant. Fave is still Deathmatch though, surprisingly there are less campers in that mode than most of the objective matches. Big team games are fun as hell, too bad they lag.
What maps do you guys like or don't like? I really like the three mentioned above, including District (I know some hate it), love/hate Strike, same with Bloc and that one map with the hangers. don't like Crash and I really hate Pipeline and Wet Work. That one ultra tiny map with containers is fun as hell for headquarters though.... I'm laughing my ass off half the time.

COD4 too violent for kids
I just ran across this article titled "Top 7 games your kids should avoid" and COD4 was on the list. COD4 is quite mild to other games I have played. And even still, I find it laughable that these media articles are still trying to blame video games for kids' actions.
Its quite an amusing read, here's the link.

*Do I think it's a violent for kids? Yes, I do... for kids at a certain age... There are a lot of blood splattering, and stabbings... If I had kids (again, at a certain age), No, I would NOT let'em play a game like this...
*BUT, with that said... I have a friend who's got a 7 year old son... and he does let him play games like this... and he's quite good actually... Is he a problem child? -No. Is he Violent in any way? -No. A.D.D.? -No. He's actually a very good little boy... and if anything that video games has done for him is develope a great sense of problem solving. For a 7 year old? He's waaaaaaaaaaay ahead of the other kids, and I, honestly, think... it's the games. It takes (everyone, at any age) a lot of thinking to pass a level, let alone finish a game... He doesn't ever need those guides or any help in any way... he just does it. I'm sure it's also helped his hand-eye coordination. So, I think it's all relative how a child is raised... It's just weird when a 7 year old ask me what is my favorite gun to use on the game I always have to remind him NOT to talk about guns at school...

Thats gay that faggy PS3 players get double experience
As for this game its sooo fucking addicting! I have been playing hardcore, its fucking great! I am way more stealthy then the normal game. I like taking my time and finding people or hiding for the right moment. During the normal game its too fast to do that so you basically have to keep running around and picking people off. On Team hardcore I might only get 12 kills but will only die once or twice.

Question: Does the UAV Jammer perk work also when you fire a weapon without a silencer? By that I mean will you show on radar?
If only I could have my M16 with silencer and a grenade launcher... sigh
I'll have to get used to the Hardcore though. I'm more of a Halo type so I'm used to running around stabbing people in the back or just shooting on sight in the open.

I know right, I wish you could use atleast 2 attachment on your weapon. I use the M16 with a red dot, double tap, stopping power and claymores. Wish I could use red dot and silencer..
Hey do any of you guys use the easdrop perk? This game seems too much like run and gun to be hiding and listening to your enemies nearby. lol...

UAV Jammer does not conceal weapon fire, I'm pretty sure. You'll need the silencer to stay completely hidden.
K/D ratio and all those other stats can be seen in the game. Go to Leaderboards in the Barracks section. Several boards to cycle through, play with the filters to see what you want.

Nothing's more fun than amassing 30+ kills and single digit deaths!
And that eavesdrop perk seems kinda useless, except on maybe the domination maps with a highly coordinated enemy team. One person just needs to have eavesdrop, and you can find out their strategy.

lol.... we actually don't officially use [98°] I was just playing with these people that JJ (Smashington) knew and they use 98° as a joke. People laugh that we're a boy band, then we completely kick their ass. Most of the time we almost double the other team's score, sometimes we triple it. Today we actually got some respect and it felt good.
Same with my name, since XBLive on the original Xbox, people either think my name is pretty funny, go "wtf" or something like that. I've had about 4 or 5 people just tell me my name was straight up stupid/gay. :gheylaugh: I then proceeded to humiliate them in game, i.e. kill + teabag, etc.
I usually play with no tag or [AZ] if I'm playing with AZ people.
