playing right now

 

Hmmm... so I could have sworn that in Forza4 I had the controls set so that right trigger was gas, left trigger was brake. Right bumper was shift up, left bumper was shift down. It seems I can't get the shifting that way. It's backwards and I'm unable to set it how I'm used to. I can only use 1 of 5 presets. Any help?

 

Isnt there an advanced controller setting to swap them? I use the clutch, which is the left bumper, and X and B are shift down/up respectively, but there is a setting to swap them if I were inclined to do so.

Oh and UPS is now saying the game will be delivered tomorrow. Fuck UPS. Fuck UPS with a rusty, jagged pipe.

I'm not even that far in career, only on the second wristband, but already have over 1 million credits thanks to the online multiplayer challenges.

Like Austin, I need to finish discovering the discount signs and driving all of the roads. I believe I have about 71 discount signs and I've driven 180 roads.

I saved for it. I think it's the most expensive car in the game at $2.7 million. I think the 599XX Evo is $2.6 million.

Really wanted to buy this but I just can't find the will to... Handling is too fake for me... After Forza 4 that is... And no tuning to add... Feels like NFS all over again... Would've been great soon after Forza 3... I've been spoiled after 4...

 

You can't base the whole game off of the demo. Play the actual game for an hour or two and you'll adapt. It's the same basic feel of FM4, just a bit more forgiving.

Im no longer waiting for UPS. Partly because they lost the fucking package. Amazon said theyre going to overnight a new one to me. Awesome! Except it wont go out until tomorrow. So I wont get it until Friday.

Truth be told, I don't really feel like playing right now though, so the wait doesnt bother me much.

Tonight was fawking AWESOME! We had between 5 and 8 people in a lobby at once. Doing private online races gets you tons of stuff. Each time you level up, it's a random drawing of either cash or a car. I got 1000cr, 5500cr, 25000cr, a Miata, a new Viper, a 280Z, Mini Cooper, and a few other cash prizes and I only got to Level 10. There are a few cash prizes for 850k and 1 million cr as well as Hennessey Venom GTs, RUF Yellowbirds, and other exotics.

Yeah online is really fun, matchmaking seems a lot better too. Custom lobbies FTW though. The maps are awesome, love playing infected (tag) in the warehouse area of Carson.

I upgraded tires, sway bars and like a flywheel, something to bump it up to a 700.

The shifts from 1st to 2nd are awesome.

 

I think I'm going to get the coupe since the speed is higher. Once I get further along in the game and have stacks of cash I'll get the droptop.

Dew it. I bought 4 cars last night and I'm at 690k. Gonna wait to buy more cars because I really want the Ferrari's and the Aventador J.
