Not many details about it yet, my guess would be open road & point to point races. Should be at E3.

I'm not so sure about this one. Rumor is that it's going to be open-world. That could be fun, problem is it's not made by Turn-10. The new studio making it is made up of ex-codemasters and ex-bizarre workers, so they should have some good talent. Can't wait to see more info about it!

I still think that there are many elements in PGR3/4 that are miles ahead of Forza. Heat shimmer, real time reflections in the windshields (ex. sun glinting off the front bumper of the car behind you, reflected in the windshield of your car in interior mode), environments, gorgeous weather and night...details that make the racer seem more real.
It should be insane with all the companies combined.
The graphics alone in this game should be absolutely amazing. Ive always liked CodeMaster games - Colin McRae, Toca, DiRT....
Im not sure what the main goal of this game is, but it has plenty of potential to be great. I just hope the keep it geared more for the simulator crowd then the arcade racer crowd.

Can't believe I didn't see this thread before
I hope it's FM4 PLUS open-world. I don't want the whole game to be like NFS Underground where you have to drive to start races. I just want there to be another "tab" on the main screen that will allow open-world cruising.

I know this is becoming a pipe-dream, but it would be sick - for a mountain track like Fuji - if it rain/sleet at lower elevations and as you get higher it changes to just snow.

I think GT5 and PGR4 are the only ones with dynamic weather. Sure adds to the realism.
Forza physics, none of that crappy arcade shit. I want my car to handle like a car would, not like it is glued to the ground. Although MC is really fun, it was also really easy, even on the hardest setting.
I'd love for this game to be like TDU 1 with Forza's physics. You could seamlessly travel the entire map and players around you would jump in and out. Races were by choice when you ran through the area. TDU 2 sucked.
I'm so excited for this game, Nov is too far away!!

Even better if you had to get like a house/garage/warehouse to store cars in. In TDU after I had beat it I just drove from house to house and picking a car from each with the lowest miles. If the career was similar to TDU's in that it had street races you could do for more money/higher risk of damage but also had track events you could do, this would be fun. Race to the track then race at the track? Winning!

I loved having houses. I actually had a house that had 3 McLaren F1's, 3 McLaren F1 GTR's and 3 McLaren F1 GT's, and the 10th car was a Mercedes-Benz SLR McLaren. Then another house full of Ferrari. I miss TDU a lot so I really hope Horizon is just like it.The racing on and off track sounds awesome too. Like if you had a garage at the track you could pull in and add aero upgrades and tune before you went out. Run some test laps too.
