Does anybody know a place to get window tinting done. Im looking to do limo is the back and maybe 20-30 % in the front i know its not legal but want to get it done anyways. So im looking for a place that would do that and is resonably priced.

I just got mine done at a shop in Sycamore. 35% all around for $200. The shop gave me the moleskin to apply on my own which was no biggie.

 

I got mine done on logan car wash(they have everything there, detailing, tints, car wash, even a LIQ store!!) 140 lifetime warranty, he uses johnson tints no clue but for the price cant beat it.

 

that's the guy I got it done from, very good job. got 2 of my TL's done there, my cousins TL, my fraternity bros TL, and a random person i met at a gas station's TL.

 

I got my 07 TLs done by Scott. And now I'm going to him tomorrow to get all window redone legally @ 35%. He does a very good job.

Go to this guy (tinteduptls). He's real cool and really takes his time. It was also good to meet another fellow ziner and bs while he's doing it.

The tint really transforms the car and makes it look more aggressive, especially if you have a NBP.

I will have to bring my wife's car back to him...

 

hey does anyone know if tinteduptls can do overlays for headlights and taillights also by any chance? i tried to get them done at the tinting place i went to but they said its a different type of tint that they use there

 

no i dont, i use the vht spray for headlights and tailights

 

is that stuff easy to take off if i ever want to trade them in or sell them?? and can ya do a light spray over mine if ever?? i am kinda retarded when it comes to that kinda stuff.

 

lol, yea there is a chemical made by dupli-color i believe its called "specialty reducer" and the vht comes right off with no damage to the lens

if you are talking about headlight baking i haven't mastered that art lol. i had to redo one of my headlights because of moisture but they are all good now. on the other hand if you are talking about tinting them with the vht spray i can do that.

I also had mine done by Tintduptls. Did a very good job and took his time - 3 hours and this was right on his 21st. He was still patient during the job while I he was looking forward to getting hammered that night.

BTW- just be careful with the car's autolock feature when key is in the ignition and turned to "ON" - haha.

I just got my tint done by him awsome guy, good quality of work The funny things is I think we were close to lock the key in the car too lol Yes he did take his time and doing it the right way patiently

 

I told him to tell people to bring an extra set of keys and keep it in their pocket. Had to get the wife to come give me the key at like 9AM on a Saturday morning. J - I am sending you my credit card bill for the shopping later that day.

 

Am still confused how you guys almost locked your car inside...


but overall am glad you guys like his work.
