tinteduptls, can you give me a rough quote for a CL-S? ('03). I still have the tint on from the previous owner and its garbage... starting to rip... I can remove the tint myself if you don't want to deal with it. Probably want to do 35% all around, smoked.

 

If jose didn't do your tints don't post work from another person on here please. makes no sense on why you would do that.

If that's the case, can we have another sticky with a tint information thread?

How can one shop have a whole tint sticky dedicated to just them and discourage any posts/comments from other shops? (Unless they're paying to advertise on here - then I get it.)

There are other options/locations that our members should be able to choose from. I have ZERO vested interest in my guy on the north side, but he has been doing fantastic work for me and the forums I've belonged to for over 10 years.

 

i can also confim this guy is good, hes done 3 cars for me so far and i have no complaints. def good prices and takes his time.

 

I just had Jose tint my rear window since my car came with only the side windows tinted when I bought it. He did a great job, took his time, and explained each step of the process. I had him try to match the side windows and it came out great.

Make your way to Des Plaines. Its like 40 Mins away from Oak Lawn. It'll be well worth the time and gas. He did a lot of tints for people on AZ...he even did mine.

 

what kind of tint does he use? how much for a TL? 4doors and rear window.

I use llumar but I also have access to Johnson's window film if you prefer one over the other.

 

Hi I'm interested to see if you would be able to retint my 2 rear quarter windows on my 08 tl. The guy that did it said it was "impossible" to tint behind the plastic trim. I understand it might be a different shade since my tint has already sat on my car for about a year and a half but if its not too bad I can deal with it.

Tinteduptls (Jose) did my tints last weekend. He did a great job. Great guy too, very friendly. I hung around for the 3 hours it took him and buddy Enrique. I would recommend him to anyone looking for a fair price and professional job.

Ignore my missing front emblem... It somehow came off while I was driving to work one morning and I'm waiting for a replacement from the dealership. Jose even had an extra emblem he let me try on but it was a no go. Just goes to show the kind of guy he is!
