Remote Start Installer in Northwest Suburbs?
Does anyone know of a shop that will do quality work at a reasonable price in the northwest suburbs? I've been quoted by one place in Addison for starter/install that was just over $300. Best Buy wants over $400...
I've had my last car done by a place on Kedzie and Cermak (I think?) that charged $240 for Compustar starter/install. My expectations weren't met since it would take the car two separate cranks to get it to actually start up...
So I'm looking for something near Palatine that will do good work and that has fair prices. I've been checking Groupon, but I would like a referral from the community.
Thanks guys!

Hey man.
The best place to get it done at is Abt in Glenview. These guys are legit.. yes, it costs more than you want to pay, but if you get it wrong and mess with the electronics, you'll hate your car.
I just got a viper system installed (2 way led screen).. total with installation was $700. System works great, no issues. Customer service was a top 5 experience I've had in my life (guy was so chill, I almost went to jewel and brought him a six pack).
Don't cheap on out something that could potentially screw up your car severely. Just my 2 cents!

I can understand wanting to pay more to feel good about a purchase but in this case I just want to get the job done for less than $300 total.
There's a Groupon for this place in Bensenville called Tintworld. Looks like they offer a 2 year warranty on their service and it seems they can give me what I'm looking for for under $300... may be trying this route.
