Yep, once again confirming the fact that nitrous is totally f-ing stupid except on dedicated drag cars.

I wonder if he has Allstate with accident forgiveness because he is going to need it on this claim. I bet if he fesses up and tells the truth that the insurer will pay the claim especially if the aftermarket accessories were installed by a licensed and insured shop.

If the area he lives has a fall season, then winter must happen, and no garage for a $70 K Corvette?

I would have a garage built, then spend about 50 G's on a used one.

Long story short... N20 backfire took out the intake manifold and fuel rails at high speed. Friend thought the bottom end let loose... Didn't smell much at 150+mph. Rather than shut it down and have to stop with no brakes or power steering he coasted it to a stop. By the time it came to rest the open fuel and n2o lines had a huge blaze going. Took the FD 18mins to show up and put it out. The rest is history...
he deserves it at 150mph... that is just stupid... and N2O is safe for road use... if installed and used properly...

If he coasted to a stop how the f did it end up in his driveway? Looks like it melted right then and there almost. Don't wanna bother registering on svtperformance.... Did the asshat just tow it into his driveway to show off to his neighbors what a bad ass momma's boy he is?

"Laugh now assholes, next month my mom's gonna get me an M5!"

Should have done a cam and exhaust, would have cost him like 2 grand but power would have been on tap and no chance of boom.

An almost brand new Z06 running a N20 setup...or atleast what was left of it. The entire front end was burned to bits...

God, i'd kill for the new Z06...what an idiot. Thats what happens when you get greedy with power! I guess an 11 second car isn't good enough for some people...
