New Car for Mom time
New Car for Mom time
Well, promised my mother a new car so yesterday, I bought her an Impreza after she had taken one a month ago, for a test drive. As a ski patroller, I got it under a "VIP" program that discounted it 2% below invoice
Now when I pick her up at the airport New Year's Day, she's gonna get a little good news b/c she doesn't know I bought it yet!
I heard this is a great little car, anyone have one? Consumer Reports gave it good grades, hope it works out well and doesn't give her a PITA.

She will have no issues with it I am sure. I have put 48k on mine within a 1 yr span and not a single issue to date and I have had 15 hpde track events this year alone and nothing has given me a problem. I hate to say it, but its held up to abuse (track days not blatant burnouts etc) better than any other car I have ever owned.
i haven't heard anything bad about them.
i just talked my mom into buying an avalon limited. she has always looked at cars to be "point a to point b" transportation only.
i talked her into the limited and she is wondering how she ever lived without navi, heated seats, and all the other small things that make driving enjoyable.
