WTF does "ex-works" mean?

I've been reading some articles, and when talking about money, they mention the price in euros followed by "ex-works", what does this mean????

Its a shipping term. Basically, you are responsible for all charges once said item leaves the factory, supplier, etc. That means any shipping, freight, taxes, are on your account. Hope that helps.
