Would you driv a TL Type S?

I'm deciding on what to trade my other car in for. Would you drive a TL Type S? Would you get Navi or not?

I've also driven and like the Infinity I35 and rove and ruled out the Jaguar X Type (yuck).

I'm trying to stay under 35K.

Thanks for your feedback.

Yes I'd take a TLS with navi any day of the week!!!! Very nice car. Plus.....you can get an underbody kit without having to custom build.

Yes, I think I might drive one, oh wait I do drive one. It has four doors and weighs 100lbs less than your CL-S.

I think you'll find the considered opinion on this board to be that TL-S is a great car that we's all be willing to drive.

Many people may say they would do it only if there was no CL-S available but I don't think you'll get too many serious opinions here regarding the TL-S being a bad car. That is assuming we leave any lurking tranny discussions out of it.

According to the Acura website the TL-S weighs:

3558 lbs
3574 lbs with NAV

CL-S weighs:

3510 lbs
3534 lbs with NAV

CL-S 6 speed weighs:

3446 lbs
3470 lbs with NAV

I don't see the 100 lb difference you mention. . .

Is this really true? I would think it would be heavier? What accounts for the difference?

DEFINITELY!!!

I drive a TL-S and my gf drives a CL-S. Both excellent cars, but we both think that the TL-S actually have a more sporty feel to it. The steering feels tigher and the gas pedal gives a more accurate feedback. My gf doesn't like it, just because she says that turning the steering wheel on my car is tiring compare to her CL-S......
Any other TL-S/CL-S owner notices the two car feels different?

I saw the Infiniti G35 in person at the dealer today. Before I saw it in person, I hated the look of that car on paper. But I have to say that it actually looks alot better in person. I would actually consider getting one! Don't judge that car until you have seen it in person. 260HP/260LB of torque + RWD, that car is going to kick some ass!

But of course, my TL-S is better.

I'd have no problem with a TL-S. But i'd use the 2k savings for a non navi and do some mods

I'd get the 6-spd CL-S... or maybe the G35.

I drove a regular tl around for a while and it felt like a family car to me. I prefer a 2 dr. I love my CLS..can't see how the TLS could be so much better like you guys are saying. Isn't it basically the same car but with 4 doors and diff sheet metal??

I drive my TL-S everyday

If you're looking for a new car screw the I35 and take a look at the G35 instead.

I agree..I would love to own a coupe. My previous car was a 4 door Accord. So I wanted something sporty. But when I layed eyes on the TL..it was so sweet. I'm guessing it's the small differences. Maybe the headlights and bumper on the TL makes it more aggressive.

and Yes..I would drive a TL-S....
