02 TL Type-S AT work in 02 CL Type-S?

So i purchased a rebuilt tranny for my 02 Cl Type-S. Whats new... When i recieved the transmission i noticed the part number was for the TL, not the CL. I know the TL and CL type s difference is merely cosmetic. They both share the J32A2, tranny is the same... But after it bolts up will sensors, harness, and solenoids Work the same?

the same on paper.

if you go to the OEM parts guide and start comparing the part number from 2002 cl-s and 2002 tl-s they appear to be the same. I didn't look at them all, but the housing, converter, accumulator, and countershaft gears are all the same part number.

Awesome. Thank you for the reply!
I succesfully installed it this weekend and everything is working great. Apparently the 02-03 CL Type-S & TL Type-S are compatible with each other (identical).

Thanks. May consider an '03 TL-S tranny for my '02 CL-S.

Use the av6 out of a 05 06 odyssey tranny or 06 07 accord tranny. Much better tranny

02 slipping or hesitant to shift

Our 02 TL is unable to shift after it runs a while.I changed the tranny filte and one of the pressure solenoids. Planning on cleaning the shift
selenoids and draining the tranny fluid 1/3 at a time. Any additional recommendations.
