I have been in a G35, I've driven one many times. I know people with G35's. They're nice cars, not quite my preference but I'd be ok with owning it. I really like the engine and how they handle.

I'm sorry you have a bad experience with the G, but your ONE ANECDOTAL experience that is contrary to what everyone else thinks is just asinine.

A friend of mine in high school wanted my broken 250 cc dirt bike so I traded him for his beat to shit golf sight unseen.

He and his dad "fixed" it... presumably while very very high.

One of the motor mounts was a chain.
the rear hatch didn't open with the handle, but if you kicked it open it wouldn't stay up.
He replaced the head gasket once, I found that the car was leaking about a quart a day because he folded a corner of the head gasket over (I also found nuts and bolts in the cylinders).
He sold the injection system, put bolts in the injector holes, and stuck on a webber progressive carb... Somehow he never got it to pass emissions I can't imagine why.
When he replaced the head he didn't replace the gasket between the exhaust manifold and the exhaust system. It was a great car for suffocating yourself.
None of the accessories worked. I only ever repaired the headlights.
The tires were PAINTED black, and they were bald.

It actually drove okay. Or the carbon monoxide fumes made it seem so.
I managed to sell it for 600 bucks though which is 300 more than the bike cost me. I probably spent about 3 weeks wrenching on it though, which helped teach me a lesson.

And what's all this dumping on a Pinto? By today's standards they aren't impressive at all, but I seem to remember them being a decent little car. Hell, many years ago I can remember a number of people who were accomplished road racers even modified them for track use.

drove mercury sable station vagon, it was ok(family car when we first moved to US). then i had 95 accord ex vtec, 02 accord v6 ex, 95 civic lx, 02 civic ex, 96 oddysey, 04 v6 accord manual and auto (04 AV6 6spd is what i have now and best car i drove) got to drive new generation mustang v6 auto, i can say the worth car i ever drove (huge, slow, noizy, did i mentinoned slow?) friken 4.0 liter v6, my 6spd will smoke that think like nothing, even my dads auto 3.0liter v6 will smoke it Ford=sucks unless you pay tons of money for it (GT or high end shelby)

pretty much every grand prix, grand am, ford focus, chevy cavalier, my freind vw jetta but that thing has been through hell by him.

i had a rental last gen lancer, for it being a base model i beet the hell out of it, it eld together pretty well.

pretty much any American car i've been in i've found issues with them. my grandfather struck is slowly falling apart but for it being 22 years old it' still a work horse and doesn't quite....toyota FTMFW

Late 80's Chrysler LeBaron I think it was. It was my aunt's. It was one of those Chryslers that would talk to you if something was wrong. Like "please fasten seatbelt" or "door is ajar." So annoying.

Anyways, after about 90k miles the thing was on it's last leg. If you ran it WOT through the gears every time the automatic transmission would go to shift the car would lose all power, all the dashboard lights would come on and flash, and then the car would shift and you'd have power again. It was kinda funny as a 17 year old kid bombing around in it a few times.

It's a tie between 2 loaner cars I had from a Chrysler dealership. One was a Cavalier, the other a Chrysler LHS. No idea what year either of them were, but both cars were death traps for different reasons. The Cavalier was slower than a fricking slug and had horrible visibility, and the LHS was a drifty, gliding POS that was impossible to steer in the right direction. Its paint was also peeling off everywhere. I felt like such a ghetto loser in that car and absolutely could not wait to get my car back.

Alright, I thought the members of AZ would actually compare cars versus their cost. For the price, the X5 is not the car for me. I could wait to get back into any other car besides it.

If were going purely on the car, all costs aside, the 1998 Nissan Sentra we flipped was awful. Mostly because the previous owner dropped a bottle of Fabuloso in the backseat and gave my righteous headaches. The auto tranny slipped like crazy, the rack and pinion was fuxored and for as slow as it was we could only manage 27mpg. However, we bought it for $500 and sold it for $1200.

My friend had a '91 Corolla DX wagon. It ran fine and the A/C worked but that was about it. Above 55 it was impossible to maintain a steady speed and it only had a 3-speed automatic. It had a tiny rear seat and the windshield was held in place by bathroom calking. He got into an accident with it and after that, the passenger door never shut right. Thank god it's gone....

My fiancees father is a mechanic and was recently given a 86-87 Lebaron...the turbo charged model. Its EXTREMELY clean and only has like 30k on it.

I had to drive it around one day while he had my pathy...I forgot it was a turbo until I realized I was listening to the engine spool up...

Anyway, must say I actually liked driving the car. The brakes needed an upgrade...but everything else was pretty decent.

Anyway my worst ride: 1989 Toyota Camry.

Don't get me wrong, it was super reliable - I went like 18,000 miles without an oil change and nothing happened.

But it qualifies as my worst ride because my parents agreed to help me finance a car once that sucker died. So imagine being a 16 year old in 98 and getting handed a 89 Camry and thinking "Great, I can kill this sucker in 6 months and get my Prelude."

Nope. Those 89 Camrys were built with flux capacitors - cause I'm telling you! Literally 18,000 miles, no oil change and it would not die!!!!!!!

Ended up having to finance my 01 Prelude by myself since technically the car my parents gave me never died. Stupid reliable POS.

I rented a geo metro. I had a lot of fun in it, but it pretty much sucked. What was fun was that from a stand still you could lock up the rear tires with the handbrake, and just drag them around. I don't think they noticed the big bald patch on one side of the tires when we returned it.

More recently was like a 07' ford taurus rental car. It only had 20k miles, but rattled so bad, rode like crap, that I was worried about it breaking down. I guess I have to chalk some of that up to having a hard life as a rental car, but I think a car should easily like 20k miles.
