It actually was driven on the street. He had a "conservative" road tune that brought down power to about 850 at the wheels.

I heard chris and the guys over at AMS want to have the worlds highest hp and fastest 9. I think thats probably why theyre getting rid of this, to focus on the new project. However pruven is already on its way with the most powerful 9 i know of yet, i think its 701AWHP.

Well I am sure there are others out there that have that much power as well. But I will also say that why mark the VIN # off? Could there be something with the car he is hiding?

I know one of the last cars they ran out at our time attack performance challenge event (they won by the way as overall champ) was originally a theft recovery vehicle they purchased. Now the fact is...this one states 100 miles since delivery or something like that....? Could be suspect though...no doubt.

Here is a video of their closest competition at our last performance challenge event....kind of cool sounds! Buscher car....

It was evident that the owner spared no expense but $60,000 and 'Reserve not met'?? Pass.

Yep...speed costs money! A bit beyond my budget no doubt. But if you look at it....doubled the sticker price....tripled the HP....not a bad buy if you are into that level of toy I guess. And thats where the bidding just starts? It will be interesting to watch this one though to see what happens. I bet nobody bids and it sells to private sale off line.

Definitely a nice run in that video. He needs to learn proper racing technique and use both hands.

True, but that doesn't increase the value of the car. Actually, all that stuff decreases it. It will be very tough to sell. They need to find that one person who is specifically looking for something like this. Gonna be tough to do.

Nice numbers though!

Your right....but that kind of goes without saying with that type of vehicle. Its more of a toy than transportation....and when you get into that area....the skys the limit with what people will pay.

Old school dsm tuners

Pretty cool how they are taking the evo to another level in drag racing.

Not the best platform to drag race but its like honda fwd drag racers they like to prove the naysayers wrong.

I was talking about AMS, the people who built the car. That car has been for sale for a while now, everyone knows the story behind it so no need to bash the owner...

I tend to agree with you....bashing seems to be a way of life for some on this site....dont see the problem....people build cars like this all the time? You get what you get when you toss that much HP into a car and expect a daily driver. I have a buddy that drives an EVO that is about 550HP daily driver...and he breaks it over and over....its always something. Thats the way of life at high HP and high stress. Evo or Subie...they all have their set of probs at that HP level....thats just a fact. Especially when you try to daily drive em.
