Window tint.

I am considering tinting the windows on my CL. The legal limit in Alabama is 32%. Does anyone have any pics of this percentage of tint or any other percentage?

32 % sucks. you can see right through it. My friends have to question me sometimes on sunny days to whether or not I have tint on my car or not.

Thank you for not pluralizing the word tint!

32% is about what is legal in Maryland. Just be glad you can tint at all. Washington, DC won't allow any window tinting on non-commercial vehicles due to gangbangers creepin' ...

it's not tint, it's tints

sorry I don't have any pics of 35% but here is my old car w/ 20% tint. I think on my new car I'll go to ~35%. One to be legal, and I don't think I need to too dark.

But then again, it is really subjective, as I know people that have 2 or 3 layers of limo tint, but that is just dangerous to be driving at night. Might as well spray paint their windows black.

20% is a nice match. Since the windows are solar control which will darken slightly in the sun, you'll be at like 17%.

I have 15% but my tint meter(yes I own a tint meter) says 12%

<---- 35%

Its all in what the owner wants
I wanted a hint of privacy and slight look of luxury without hindering my night vision

I got a few quotes today, it's going to be around $140. The tint shops said they would install 20% if I wanted.

it is 50% here in MN.............you can thank all of the jackasses who thought it would be cool to have uber dark windows so they could shoot cops..

the darkness of tint is not that important, the heat rejection and UV blocking is
