Nah, I'm just kidding man. I'm sure manual transmission cars only make up like 25% of their sales. Which is kind of crazy, as that is much higher than many other manufacturers these days. I was looking at used subarus for sale around my province. There was about ~950 up for sale, province wide. ~350 of them were manuals

It's sucks everyone is turning to CVTs, but I guess I understand why. All in the name of not giving our kids, or their kids an increasingly messed up planet...

My dad has a 2012 outback manual transmission, 121k miles.

He has been really wanting to upgrade for more power (like the old subaru xt outback or 3.6R) but the new outbacks are all cvt only

Haha. If it helps your memory at all it was a balmy 31 degrees here today and tonight we are dropping down to 9. More of the same tomorrow and then up into the mid 40s on Wed and Thurs. Someone must have opened the door to Canada and let a draft in.
All kidding aside it has been unusually warm here in the Boston area so far this winter. No need for AWD so far............

The modern one that's lighter, more powerful, and doesn't blow piston rings like it's going out of style.

You can run it, it's just not ideal for your car especially turbocharged ones.
