congrats on the new purchase. Have you drone out the road noise? i heard its gets pretty loud. Also have you thought about getting an cobb accessport to smooth out the tune for the boost?

Thanks

Car has 82 miles as of now

Highway noise is all tire that is for sure
Haven't noticed any drone between 70-80mph yet

Yeah our ms3 had the Cobb access port . During break in not much way to boost, so after 1 k will order the mods

Happy new year

night time driving

We drove it first time at night yesterday

The headlights are just as crisp if not even brighter than my tsx hid, very pleased

Overall visibility is amazing with the shoulder belt line being so low

The red footwell lightning is a bit much but car was ordered with it and wife likes it

Last nights 17 mile trip registered 31.2 mpg for the trip

The seat heaters worked fantastic however the location is garbage
They are HIDDEN under the arm rest unlike the very easy seat heater button on the tsx

Bluetooth works fantastic and the touch screen display works excellent

Send it up here for the summer, I'll make sure it gets workout once or twice a week and it'll give my S a chance to make friends.

Lucky that we don't need the awd here

But having lived in Boston /providence with rwd for 4 years, certainly can appreciate need for awd

Starts at $84k. The one we have is $87k due to Mark Levinson Audio and orange calipers.

cool thread...I'll be checking in!
How did I miss that you have a Rio too?
Or am I getting old and forget that we've discussed this before?

Your wife is cool, man...cooooolllll...like Joe. A subi in manual is a solid choice, mine claims she can't learn how to drive it because she's a lefty.

yea one of my buddies that works at Park Place in Dallas has a grey one... same price... the pics were amazing... a year ago, i really thought they would price it similar to the RCF (75k topped out) but i was so wrong... alot of the guys on CL are saying wait a year and the price should drop if sales are as low as the RCF.

Just stumbled on this today... AND was expecting an upgrade to a new Lexus or RL/RLX. To my surprise, she scores a Subi.

That's freaking awesome man! Your wife has similar taste as mine. Before we pulled the trigger on the MDX, she was sold on getting another luxury 6MT sedan. The ONLY reason why we did not get it was because the need for space (especially on road trips) for the kids.

Every now and again, she mentions, I wish I got my 6MT... I tell her it's never to late, lol

The new WRX/STi gets a lot of hate but I think it looks fuckin' awesome. It boggles my mind that people thought the preproduction car was going to make it the showroom floor.

If they still made the WRX/STi in hatchback I would have bought one. Sedan doesn't have enough space to haul stuff. The ST and GTI are nice but both are FWD.

I guess I should add that the Golf R is AWD and hatch but I can't trust the legendary reliability of a high performance VW.

We have owned (since having kids)
2 hatchback
2 wagons

I love everything wagon/ hatchback

Having said that, the wrx sedan with 2 kids as much as space as all the hatch we had for OUR needs

dude...having been a hatch guy my whole life...civic/ep3 si/rsx...
having a sedan where the fucking seats don't go down is a real royal pain in the asshole.

I like to be able to hit home depot and get creative with how i'll get a sheet of plywood home.

Anyway...next car, will have a hatch...or wagon.
