What other car do you drive?
Just curious what other Acura owners drive. My TL is my daily driver so I HAVE to have a toy. I've always been a Honda guy through and through. Had a Legend, S2000, Prelude, Accord, CL-S, but have also ventured with a Supra Turbo, and 2 years ago bought a used Boxster S. Love the roadsters.

Was on the fence about whether to get a G37X or the TL SH-AWD. Knew I wanted AWD and I guess my Honda roots kicked in. Plus, they were discounting the heck out of them what with the TLX coming out
My TL is my DD and my toy (thanks to 6MT and SH-AWD...and the fact I can't afford a third car), but my wife has a Pilot that we are trading in this weekend for a 2014 Odyssey Touring. I'm really looking forward to that Ody. My wife always said she'd never have a minivan but changed her mind recently with baby #2 on the way. I'm glad she did because the loaner we've had for the past week has been great (and it's only the EX-L w/ navi).

There's no wavering even an inch away from Honda for you is there Ken? Loved my AP1 S2000. Was so sad when I watched it drive off. Was building an addition on my house and sold it for extra funds. When I felt like I was ready for a roadster again, I just didn't want an AP2 but I wanted something that would stir my soul. Test drove a Boxster and had to find one. The 05 I bought had only 17K on the clock so I had to grab it. Still love the S2000 tranny more than the P-Car tho.
No Acura for 5 1/2 years. Regulars know what I drive already....but I'll play.
For those who turn signatures off:
2013 CTS-V manual wagon (DD and daily fun)
2002 S2000 (fun weekend car)
2007 Pilot (mommymobile)
2004 Pilot (temporary beater winter car while I'm waiting for the RLX sport hybrid to resolve from the vapor, and to be beta-tested by the first year owners)

It is so boring, i don't even have one picture of it.
100k miles now. No maintenance was ever done other than oil changes and 1 tranny fluid/brake pad change.
Front wheels always look like it has positive camber to me, brake still feels warped after new pads with resurfaced rotors and steering wheel feels like it has 2 inches of dead spot from each turning direction.

My sig.
Our Avant is like a comfy sofa compare to my BRZ. It does have a sports package which comes with a much firmer suspension, but that doesn't really help much against a little sports car. So, it's just a family car for my wife and I.

in car limbo at the moment...
Acuras moved on to my parents.
07 TL to dad, 98TL to mom
we sold my wife's daily (07 Corolla)
wifey drives my old daily (01 GS430)
i have been dailying my toy (00 MR2 Spyder)
we sold the Rolla in order to buy an MDX, but i'm trying to hold out as much as i can to try and get a year end deal... there is no way the Spyder can get thru the winter, so the SUV purchase will happen in a month or so...

In sig but...
My daily: 2008 TL-S, 140k on the clock and still going strong. I'm going to have a hard time justifying getting rid of this car until it really does shit the bed one day.
Wife's daily: 2007 Accord EX-L V6 Nav, has 82k on the clock and I'm getting nervous that the transmission is going to implode someday soon. Just changed out the sensors and that helped a lot but still makes me nervous. Will likely replace this with a new JGC diesel in the next year or so.
Pack mule: 1998 Ford Expedition XLT 5.4L, has 170k on the clock and runs like a champ. It has hauled everything I've ever thrown at it and then some without a single hiccup. I'd like to sell it and upgrade to something better but I just can't justify it given that I put maybe 2000 miles on it a year (14mpg isn't cheap to run). But when you want to load up 5 friends, all their stuff, lake toys, and drag a boat with more shit in it behind you there really isn't much better out there for the task. I actually love this truck.
Old car: 2004 BMW 330xi 6MT, sold it at 120k miles. Loved the car, hated the work I had to put into it to ensure it ran well with higher miles on it. It was an absolute tank in the snow with snow tires on.
Future car 1 (in about 6-8 months
): 2004+ Honda S2000 or 2016 Focus RS or 2016 Golf R Wagon. Waiting for the latter two to get revealed and pricing announced before I make a call.
Future car 2 (in about a year): 2015/2016 Jeep Grand Cherokee EcoDiesel. To replace previously mentioned Accord and Expedition with one car rather than keeping two.

last night i was browsing the RSX section and read the whole build thread on that blue Turbo RSX....
He did pretty much everything himself and run 11s.
I wish i still have the same motivation as when i was in my early 20s.
