I've been toying around with the idea of getting something that is 4x4. I have a 1996 Honda Accord EX 2.2 coupe. Its black with gray leather....it has 127K miles. It has a moon roof...all power options and its an auto.

I looked on autotrader and cars in similar condition and mileage are going for $4,000-$5,000!

If I could get $5K, that would be awesome!

Depending on how cherry it is, you could possibly get 5K. I got 3K for my 93 Accord EX with 180K miles on it. This was last year.

Is there any rust on the car? Chicago doesn't seem to be very nice on cars.

No rust...and the paint is in very good condition. There are some dings on it and the drivers seat has a wear spot on the seat. I just put new tires and brakes on it too.

That sounds about right... ask for 5K and take something in the 4's...

My cousin has a 97 accord sedan (manual) with a little more mileage and I think he's asking 4500 for his...

I would definitely start at 5K then. I'm sure you'll get lowballed to $4K, but I wouldn't go any lower than that.

I could have got more for my Accord, but I owed a friend money for the down payment on my TL-S so I took the first offer. Sold it in a week.

Regardless, that was worth a good chuckle. You should be able to get around $4500 for the accord. GL with the sale.

I'm waiting for a call back from the dealer about the F-150. Its the same place I bought the Cobra....and my T-Bird....and a Cavalier beater. They are asking 21,500....if I can get them down to 20K out the door....I'm golden.

They sold the truck Wednesday
They showed me 2 other ones they said were similar....but they aren't what I wanted.
They will call me when they get another F-150 FX4 that was similar.
