I already seem to have cut a little bit of the stud if you notice in the second to last picture and unfortunatly it will not budge using a BMFH. I don't have a MAP torch but have been using propane torch and it hasn't seemed to help at all. Even if it would be cross threaded you would think it would have broken off already. I am running out of room to cut with my air cutoff wheel and electric angle grinder. The next spacer has two that I might have to cut out as well.

Go get a MAP torch, it's way hotter than propane and not expensive.

Might be time to switch to a dremel...

What would you have suggested doing to embrace my state of fucked? Your right I get that I can't just remove a hub since the rotor is still covered. Not sure why need a new hub though? Last resort and embracing my fuckedness is just replacing a single stud.

The other side is big suckage for sure right now. Only bright spot like I said is I have not tried doing the one nut with a helper bar so I might only be looking at one there as well.

The fronts came off with 4 normal each side and 1 I had to use a helper bar with on each side. Had those bitches all off in 10min though including taking the wheels off.

If you see any coupe rears for sale at a good price let me know.

Didn't realise they get that much hotter since google seems to state they are only like 100BTU difference.

Been working with the dremel as well without much sucess. It doesn't seem to be near powerful enough and cuts super slow.

You're talking about a handheld rotary tool that spins at near ~40k RPM
It's inherently dangerous no matter how you use it

I would never fuck around with a dremel for a job like this
A drill - yes, a osc tool - yes, a dremel / rotoary tool - no

I have left the spacers in for 2 years since I knew this was a problem. Need to put my winter wheels on though now and they don't fit with the spacers on since I bought a more aggressive offset so I didn't need the spacers.

I saw some dumbasses on IG who couldn't get the lugs off..
Melted to spacer studs. So what they do after doing it all..
Drifted that bitch off.. forged works too.. shit.

All wheels will be bought to fit and not use spacers on this car ever again. Just have to figure out how to get these last two off by Friday. At this point if I could find someone to pay to do it before then I would as I just want to be done with it.

I saw a post a while back about a guy using a cutting wheel on it..
Eyes were fine, but it spun the shavings so fast
It embedded metal into his flesh.. arms, face, etc

I had the aluminum lugs strip on me on that black TL, Jason...
I know you want to avoid the stud replacement but the likelihood that
you could live with a stud that has even a small cut in it is slim. You're
wasting more time trying to avoid something you aren't going to avoid
no matter what.
Cut the stud even with the hub...then center punch and drill them out.

I wouldn't do a top speed test or drift king video with only 3 on the rear
but you could drive it peacefully to your local dealership to have 3 new
studs put in.

Make an appointment for Thursday morning...

Your probably right. I should just likely cut them off drill the 3 out that are left tonight and stuck and be done with it. Just need to make sure they can definitely replace them this week for me before I cut them.

You definitely warned about anti seize for sure. I will never use another set of Eibach spacers again either. I have used Project Kics and Ichiba spacers with zero issue. They are just made out of better materials. Sadly they don't make any more the V or that is what I would have went with.

All of this can be mitigated. Every tool is inherently dangerous, it's up to you to use it properly and with the right PPE.

Don’t have to work for OSHA to know about PPE.

And Sam is right about the face shield vs just safety glasses when using a cutting wheel.

are you saying Asian guys are safer when grinding metal?
requiring less PPE
thus saving money
and making family proud?

Okay, reported.
