But if you put your clock there, where would you put your pens? In the boot?

Actually just spoke with them this morning. They got the motor in yesterday and they hope to have her up and running this morning so they can start tuning it this afternoon. If everything goes really smooth there is a chance I could pick it up today but my guess is most likely I should be getting it back tomorrow.

It is a bit of a bummer that with my schedule this week I most likely won't be able to shred what is left of the tires that are currently on the car though. I might save them all so I can shred them at a later date.

At that point I will sell the car and move on honestly. I have no more money right now I can throw at this repair/project. So seriously, if something does go wrong I will pretty much have to put it in the garage and let it sit for about 6months and continue to drive my parents beater truck then.

Not your fault man just this is starting to take its toll on me. Heck I dropped the car off with them February 4th. If it does into next week we will be at 8 weeks on this issue fix/build. Hopefully it will be worth it once I get the car back and I will have many miles of problem free fun from here on out. I am kind of worried about taking it on a 1200 mile trip right after getting it back honestly. Part of me says just let it at home even if I get it back in time so that I don't take a risk of it stranding me.

Keep checking the shop's instagram while you're out of town so you can see the smokey burnout and parking lot hoonage videos.

I am hoping this engine is stout. I really don't want it to have to be like that but that is probably the way I would go. I would buy something for handling and never touch the motor besides bolt on then. My TSX with supercharger and upgrades has been reliable though so I have hope this can be too. It doesn't see the amount of mileage the V will though.

Ach's GT-R was in the 1xxx range, stout is relative. Factory is quick/fast enough. Power adder here there is a rabbit hole.. A broken glass that keeps getting filled if you will. Be careful.. Super conservative tune.

i think you will be ok... remember the car came from the factory boosted with a warranty... so that means it has to be overengineered and undertuned... with all the guys on the vorums daily driving their beasts with power similar to what you will get, i'm sure you will land with the majority and be totally fine...

I still booked a install appointment for my tires for 8am Friday to try and keep a positive hope they might get it finished Thursday. I let them know I would even be able to come later at night if they finished it up then.
