man i love audi and vdubs. you can do so much with them. if you want to drop em on 15s and have some serious negative camber, they look dope. if you want to build them to be a beast of an engine they can be. just damn reliability of em. hopefully by the time i go to get a new car the current gen gti has come down enough to where i can afford one

youd be surprised @ the type of people that show up to the meets. Old, young, short, fat, rich, broke (myself), educated, dumb (real dumb), black, white, asian, mexican (surprising amount), male, femal etc etc. It is the peoples car

and it might be because the demographic tends to be younger, but everyone is in it to help each other. Ive been to non VW meets and people seem to be competing against each other all the time. This one time, a Z driver wouldnt tell this other Z driver how he did a particular mod, and theres plenty of shit talking, ive noticed, at other meets. The younger crowd seems to be eager to learn and share ideas and tips

I used to go down to bug-out in Mananas, VA every year with my father who had lots of Vdubs over the years. I can vouch for the comments about it being a very mixed crowd and lots of younger people who truly are willing to help each other out.

when i think about it. I really feel like scion tries to jock VW in the scene. think about how they promote modding and being yourself, kind of like how alot of vw owners are extremely original in what they do to their car. Im not gona lie though, scion people know nothing about cars. its painful to talk to them about anything other than their car and even then...

Has anyone seen the MKII with the MKIV dash conversion?? looks so sick, id love to do that and then drop in a 1.8t and just school every car on the road

Some nice looking cars in that video...some not-so-nice looking. Fun to watch, regardless of which type of car was being shown.
