urgh guys?? Watch out for rsx's/tsx's that aren't riced out and says HYTECH on them

Hytech Exhaust has recently finished testing their new performance kit for the K20A2 engine found in the RSX-S. The kit includes new cams, pistons, rods, intake manifold, header, ECU retune and a ported cylinder head.

Dynapack dyno:

stock RSX-S: 121.6 ft/lb 171.2 HP

heavily modified RSX-S: 166.7 ft/lb 241.9 HP
(with bolt-ons & Type-R parts)

Hytech RSX-S: 173.2 ft/lb 264.6 HP
(mods above)

ummm, imagine whats gonna happen w/the TSX which has even more displacement (~0.4L), albeit lower compression ratio

p.s. i know its not a dyojet dyno However, they used a stock RSX-S as a baseline so that'll give us a decent general idea

also, the ECU flash from hondata alone i've read gives a good 40 HP to the wheels.

Ok this is just nutz IMO.

The RSx-S weighs 2771lbs and the TSX weighs 3241. The CL-S weighs 3446 lbs. All weights are for the respective manual cars.

According to this dyno, you have a car making more pwr at the wheels than any NA CL-S that weighs 205lbs or 675lbs less than a CL-S.

damn, hmmmm, maybe a rsx-s would be a great beater car for me

yea, but wait till you see the price to complete all those mods, these ain't no b-series motors man. It's still expensive to work on them. I bet that whole kit is close to 4-5K.

What are you talking about?? A RSX with header and intake makes 200whp... and that isn't that quick! The Hondata DOES NOT GIVE 40WHP!!!! It is a combination of I/H/E/TODA Cams AND Hondata that give that kind of power.

TODA has an engine package that gives 50-60whp over stock.

My buddy did the hondata stage 4 I believe w/ intake headers, exhaust and got something like 30 whp after the hondata install.

when I think about it, I believe he had the Type R cams too. But after hondata he got a huge HUGE boost in power.

Put an RSX engine in the trunk and drive it to the rear wheels.
