Thanks! It sure has gone through a transformation within the last year.
No tintS as of yet and don't really plan on getting them for awhile - I'm still saving for the remaining items for the build & preparatory items for the long process of pulling the motor & trans.

Partially true, oil will be changed when the motor is pulled

Don't be a dummy, thoiboi. There's no such thing as penis oil, regardless of what that guy in the back alley keeps telling you.
Ya, you know, when he keeps telling you that you need to lubricate the shaft with penis oil, but the only way to get the penis oil out is by stroking the shaft for a few minutes... it's not true.
ask me how I know. I've been using that technique with the ladies, at the bar, for a decade now.

UPDATE:
ETH FO is down at the moment for maintenance and a new addition.
My car has been hesitating & shuddering under boost in 4th / 5th gear - ran codes EGT sensor faults came up .. so I stopped by a friends place on Saturday to pickup some used EGT sensors for $80 ($520 from ECSTuning.com ) .
Turns out he had a garage full of parts and I walked out with a little more than I had bargained for .
Dat license plate doh
Picked up:
- New o-ring for APR Bi-Pipe ( , I really needed 2, hopefully making a return trip today / tomorrow)
- Used OEM Dual Mass Flywheel - sending off for resurface so when the motor is pulled, it'll go right into the car rather than waiting on that turnaround time.
- Redesigned PCV Spider hose
- 2 x EGT Sensors
Walked out of there for $160 - not too bad
How the ETHFO sits now:
As of right now, OEM plastic bi-pipes are out of the car, new single solid piece will be installed once I get another o-ring.
Nice thing about having a solid metal Bi-Pipe is you do not need to worry about the failure prone throttle body boot anymore - bolts directly to the throttlebody.
Now, onto the EGTs:
Keep in mind, these sensor housings sit on the back of the engine and the shielded wiring goes down to each downpipe - the Passenger side EGT sensor is very easily replaced, roughly a 30 min job. On the other hand, the driverside requires cutting a 17mm wrench in half or removing the downpipe heatshield which is a total PITA. Expected to take between 1 hr - 1.5 hrs .
Spider hose assembly replacement should take anywhere between 1hr - 1.5hr as it's not plug & play - more hose clamps will be needed and I'll have to reuse some of the OEM spider hose fittings on the back of the intake manifold.
I should have a lot more time to work on it tonight, hopefully I can knock out it out.

Car's looking great! Love following this build.
Your pic of the car above with the front bumper off is literally what my car looked like a few months ago when I changed out my HID bulbs; LOL

Yeah ...
Funny thing about that - the other 2 wheels on the other side of his car are the original finish (silver) - he was trying out a new color and he ultimately wanted to take a different direction.
TBH - I think with spacers it would look much better.

Driverside EGT sensor was a pain in the ass to remove but I finally got it after about 45 minutes - RIP 17MM wrench - so happy, I didn't need to remove the driverside downpipe heatshield after all, I managed to get at it from the bottom
Cutting the wrench in half & making it a line wrench made all the difference - there's very little space so a short stubby tool is all you need!
New EGTs are in the car and I plan on tackling the spider hose tonight. I have gaskets on the way, but I'm thinking of swinging by Lowes and maybe I'll get lucky .. we'll see.

I am pretty much he is much easier to talk to and have more financial sense
From the picture it looks the rear has bigger lip... or is it because his green color is blinding me...

So ... when are you selling the BMW for something more troublesome?
#1192

Well..... i asked to be less reliable twice already with BMW and so far it has failed and they have been proven to be too reliable for me.
i have 1 year left on my lease...after that, maybe i will be more financially responsible and buy something even less reliable than BMW....

UPDATE:
More parts on order
Clutch kit is finally en route - I decided on going with a Clutchmasters FX400 6 puck. Based on the research I've done, it's a bit hit or miss. It will take any abuse I throw at it at the expense of it's longevity due to having ceramic material.
I also ordered 8 new flywheel bolts and also had the OEM dual mass flywheel resurfaced - new clutch setup for under $800 ain't bad
I also ordered new rear differential axle seals, new rear differential fluid, some o-rings to make my Walbro 450 snug & secure in the OEM Fuel pump basket. I am one lucky mofo - My soon to be wifey is ordering downpipes & mid-pipes for my birthday .. it will be a true 3" exhaust all the way from the turbo all the way to the exhaust tips
The biggest priority this year is making this car healthy enough to handle nearly double it's factory whp and I would say the results speak for themselves:
In this screenshot - The yellow & light blue lines show boost requested vs what's actually given. Closer they are together the better.
I feel like I'm really close now, just need the following before the motor pull happens:
AEM Wideband w/ some kind of mounting mechanism.
New Slave Cylinder
New Rear Main Seal
Motor pull supplies such as fluids, gaskets, etc.
I didn't hit my target for having the motor pulled before the wedding, but I think end of October / Mid November the car will have all the parts in and the tuning complete.
Stay tuned, this is what numbers I'm hoping for .. perhaps a little more conservative:
Stock block, F21 turbos, E85.

Thanks Adam! And yes, that's the plan.
Lets say I absolutely love it when it's Stage III .. to the point where I plan on keeping it long term ..
I already have my second upgrade route planned out already in the event of a catastrophic failure.
Might go something like upgraded rods ... bigger turbos ....
It's satisfying ... almost TOO satisfying .

Look what arrived yesterday
Yes .. the Mike and Ikes were delicious - Thought it was hilarious how they put that in there...
Also, took the S4 offroading last weekend. Well, not really offroading .. but she did get quite dirty. There were a couple steep hills with washboarding all the way up ... car handled it like a champ.
Exciting year - I am getting married this weekend and we will get back from our honeymoon on 9/18 - more updates to come in October / November
What a babe:
